my ex hubby complained to social services that i was beating the children, however they came up with nothing, but even now four years on i am too frightened to play or even chastise them when they have done something, cause i am so scared of losing them. i was investigated also by the police and again they found nothing. he still questions my parenting to this day. the ironic thing is that we divorced because HE was beating ME. how weird is that! i wish you all the luck in the world.
And to the sad tosser who said let them take my kids, then i hope they do. until you have lived with that allegation hanging over your head, you do not realise how lucky you are.

Here in my town there are too many parents that SHOULD have there kids taken away and social services wont do anything about it like all the meth dealers or drug users and abuse that is here the mental health poeople that cant take care of the kids and the kids are taking care of the parents???? come on please
if they were taken away wrongly you should be able to get them back easly by proving yourself!!!!! Good Luck

Hi - My brother and sister in law had their 2 children sent to live with SIL mum following a suspicion raised by a hospital member. Within 24 hours all hell had broken loose over a FALSE allegation, 2 1/2 years on and things are only just right. So yeah, it does happen.

social services very rarely take children away without a good reason. For a child to be on the protection register in the first place (never mind all the rest of the court processes) then there must have been some suspicion.

Social Service do not take children away for no reason. Every case is different and they must have had some good evidence to remove your children. The Courts will not let them take your children away unless they can prove the child is at risk of significant harm.

a friend of mine did because her ex husband made up stories about a boyfriend that didn't even exist. and social services took the kids so they could investigate she didn't have them for almost a year.
