No I don't believe they do play unfair or ever have. It's only people or companies that are upset because Microsoft was so good at marketing that their software took over.
AOL on the other hand muscled their way in to computers weather you wanted it or not. and SPAM your mail box with worthless disks 3-4 times a year. And God forbid should you sign up for their "Free" trial, good luck trying to get the bills to stop after the free trial!
I know dozens of people who had this problem with AOL trying to sign out of their account.
