that's really easy. Ativan has an antidote Flumazenil (Ramazicon), take it and the drug is out of your system in minitues

Detox...makes me think you ahve only taken it once, if that is the case drink plenty of water to flush your system. If you need to stop taking ativan after a long period of taking it thats a different story. Ativan is highly addictive and stopping cold turkey can be dangerous. Ask the dr that gave it to you how to get off. Most people have to ween off by reducing their dose slowly.

Though one. Depends on what you mean by detox. Normal use and want ot stop, slowly reduce the dosage over 1 or 2 months. If it is epilepsy you take it for be sure you have alternate medication at hand.

This should not be done without a doctor supporting it.

ativan (or lorazepam) is one of the most addicting Rx drugs out there and it stays in your system a long time after the last dose-up to 3 months.There is no simple answer-in fact there is no answer-you have to wait it out and suffer the withdrawal symptoms

very slowly... sometimes doctors decrease the dosage gradually....because, going cold turkey and have side-effects(such as a stroke). Talk with your doctor for guidance

the drug information sheet that come with your prescription from the pharmacy proably advises you not to stop taking medication without your doctors assistance. please call your doctor and discuss with them your desire to come off of the medication
