OK Cziizi, I don't have anything that would be considered "kitchy", but I do have the ceramic hand print I made when I started kindergarten! They don't do that in school here any more.. My oldest daughters in on laminated paper and my baby girls I will get this coming school year when she starts school... ♥ "They love to pull it out and put their hands in it." And it is cool to see how small my hand was and see theirs next to mine....... Although this is not bazaar, it brings back memories of my first year of school and lets my babies see something I did when I first started school... My youngest is not too excited to be leaving me to start school... But then, all kids do that.... ♥

My "Paymaster" belonging to a woodworking union in New York (their stickers are all over it) from the 1950's. Also, 2 cocktail dresses - one from the 40's and one from the 60's - still wear them just for fun. And I have a pottery piece - no ideas as to what on earth it could ever have been used for, or whose decor it would ever match!
(For the record - my parents were very young when some of my treasures were produced! So it's not like I'm a pack rat!)

In the event that you need to discover pleasant thoughts for woodworking i can propose you to check a website ( ( woodworkingplans.kyma.info ) ) It's perfect in the event that you are simply starting out or in case you're a prepared carpenter. It has thousands and thousands of woodworking arrangements and you have a CAD/DWG software to view and alter the arrangements. You have regulated instructions with photographs and excellent blueprints and schematics. On the off chance that you are a beginner this is the simplest approach to start your woodworking projects, and on the off chance that you already have experience you can at any rate discover a ton of interesting thoughts!

I have a small collection of plastic 'people' from Scotland, they are like these goofy looking little guys with red afros and kilts. Wow really hard to explain. They are tacky but I love them!

I proudy display this can of Praire Belt Smoked Sausage...about ten years ago I purchased it 2/$1 because it looks like something from 1950. Ingedients: Mechanically seperated chix, Water, Beef tripe, Pork Skins, Corn Syrup, Pork Spleens, Pork Stomachs and other Chemicals and Spices. It is quite the conversation piece.

My house. I find it hard to buy anything for the full asking price, I like sales and bargains, so most of the things in the house havent cost a lot of money. My car is 10yrs old, and as long as the wheels go round, Im happy with it.

A "Velvet" doll from the 60's. It was my fave toy as a child, next to my bug catcher, and I found one at a flea market a few years ago.

I have a handmade hooked rug with a portrait of Elvis hanging in my entryway. It's from his fat years, and sort of looks like John Goodman doing his best Elvis impersonation and not quite pulling it off.

Along with stone, mud and animal parts, wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans. Microwear analysis of the Mousterian stone tools used by the Neanderthals show that many were used to work wood. The development of civilization was closely tied to the development of increasingly greater degrees of skill in working these materials.

I also have a plastic grocery bag with the face of Joe Jackson on it.
Heaven knows where I got it from, but I am sort of scared to throw it away now. Joe keeps looking at me so reproachfully...
