Don't buy anything yet, try the following,

1. Check your computer for any unwanted programs and uninstall it.

2. Install the program CCleaner (links below) and run it to clean out all the temp and whatever useless files eating up your disk space.

3. Go to, Control Panel > System > "Advanced" tab > under "Performance" click on "Settings" > under the "Advanced" tab you will see the "Virtual Memory" section telling you the currently size of your paging file i.e. virtual memory. Click on "Change" > Select the your drive and click on "Custom Size" and then set the "Initial Size" to your RAM amount, eg, 512MB of RAM = Initial Size of 512. And set the "Max Size" to 2x of your RAM amount. Click "Apply" and reboot.

4. Insufficient virtual memory usually means your hard disk is running out of space to set up the paging file needed to act as a secondary RAM abit with a much slower response. You can either clear out your HDD as above and set the virtual memory size as recommended (don't set it beyond 2 x RAM or your com will lag) or get another HDD and install it into your com. That way you can have more disk space to store your stuff and not worry about virtual memory. Getting more RAM is optional as that will give you a performance boost though it wouldn't do nuts for your virtual memory as you have to set it up to be twice your RAM size.

More information on virtual memory can be found in wikipedia, links below.

Cheers!

Nothing
Just increase your Virtual Memory Under Performance Options
It would however be more beneficial to increase your System RAM as Virtual Memory Decreases Performance the larger you make it and should be 1.5 times your Physical Ram as a rough estimate.

You need more RAM - Virtual memory is a part of your harddrive that is being used as memory when the application needs more RAM than you have installed on your system. Installing more RAM will most likely speed up your system. If you are not familiar with RAM you should write down the name of your motherboard and as much system info you can so that the salespersons can help you get the correct RAM module
