PC Anywhere works quite well. After installation, one PC set it as Host and the other PC set it as Remote. It will be seemless and secured once both PCs are connected.

Use limewire software. Get a cracked version. Thsi enables P2P so you both can share your files. But there is a risk of ur data being taken by others who use the same software. Be sure to protect your files like encrypting with a password etc,

i would recommend you transfer the files to a cd and send it via regular post.

if its sensitive, encrypt it or put in a rar file with a long password and sms it to him

quickest way imho

you can also upload the file to a free file service and send him the link.
make sure you protect it if you dont want anyone to see it

Gmail allows large attachments. Otherwise you can use a direct phone line to the person if both of you have PC Anywhere or Kermit or Telix.

although many mail servers provide large capacity mailboxes i don't know of any that would accept a single email of 500mb

probably the best way would be to download a free file splitter utility and send the file in smaller segments
