A. Listening (Paper Code 800/1)
The Listening Paper consists of three parts and each part comprises a recording and five questions. A total of 15 multiple-choice questions will be set.

The Listening Paper tests your ability to understand spoken English. You may have to listen for specific information, or for the gist of what is being said. You will listen to three taped recordings and respond to various types of questions based on these.

Listen to a recorded text.
Answer 5 questions based on the text.
Repeat above with 2 more recorded texts.
Total:- 15 multiple-choice questions (MCQ).

B. Speaking (Paper Code 800/2)
The Speaking Paper is made up of two tasks-individual presentation and group discussion. You will be given two minutes to prepare and two minutes to carry out your individual presentation. For the group discussion, you will be given two minutes to prepare for the speaking task and then in a group of four, you have to participate in group discussion lasting ten minutes.

The speaking Paper tests your ability to use the English language to present a point of view in a logical way.

Individual Presentation.
2 minutes to prepare.
2 minutes to speak on topic.
Group discussion (4 persons).
2 minutes to prepare.
10 minutes to discuss given topic.

C. Reading Comprehension (Paper Code 800/3)
The Reading Comprehension Paper is made up of cloze passage, a passage for information transfer (200-250 words), a non-liner text e.g. graphs, tables, flow charts, and four passages for reading comprehension. The four passages generally progress generally in length and difficulty from 250 to 750 words. There are altogether 50 multiple-choice questions

The Reading Comprehension Paper tests your ability to read efficiently and to understand written texts for content, style and text development.

1 close passage – 15 questions.
1 graphic stimulus – 3 questions.
1 information transfer passage – 4 questions.
4 reading passages – 28 passages.
Total : 50 multiple-choice questions.

D. Writing (Paper code 800/4)
There two writing tasks-summary writing and extended writing. You will have to write a 100-word summary based on stimulus which could be in the form passage (500-600 words in length), several short passages, graphic materials etc. The extended writing requires you to write a 250-word essay on a given topic. The stimulus for this may also be in the form of linear and/ or non-linear texts

The Writing Paper tests your ability to convey ideas coherently using structurally and grammatically correct sentences.

Time : 90 minutes.
Task 1 (40%) – Summary.
About 100 words.
Stimulus taken from 1 or more sources.
Stimulus in the form of linear or non-linear texts or both.
Task 2 (60%) – Extended Writing.
About 250 words.
General academic topic.
Stimulus range from notes to graphs or charts.

register to any school which is nearby your place(take note that the school must have form 6)..you have to register with the teacher in the school who takes in-charge on anything about muet..And you have to pay RM 60.00 for the 1 time exam
