For all intents and purposes, 240 is 220. Just like 110, 117, and 120 are all the same. In fact, the local electric company here runs between 122.5 and 123.5 under light load.

Yes, you can use the lamp tho the voltage is only slightly different. It will not hurt it or your electrical wiring.
