the bottom of my foot started to peel last night, so I peeled the skin off, it was itching; now this morning where I peeled it hurts to walk. it is the first layer of skin. but the rest of the skin will be peeling too im sure. so:
what to do with the part of skin already peeled off and making foot hurt to walk on? and: what to do with the rest of the bottom of foot that needs to be off?

i itched the foot and then looked down and the skin was starting to peel, so I peeled it off (the skin that was hanging,)
its right on the ball of my left foot only. yes, i have used gold bond for the itchiness, between my toes.

Old home remedy: Soak your feet for half an hour in a tub of warm water with a teaspoon of lime and a teaspoon of oil (bath/masssage). Then dab gently to dry.
Followup with a moisturizing lotion.
If you can, buy a foot cracking prevention cream like 'Foot Rescue'.
As for the huirting foot, if you have just peeled off a small area and it is still hurting after following the above, place a small bandaid over it. DO NOT CONTINUE PEELING YOUR SKIN. IT CAN RESULT IN MORE PAIN, BLEEDING and INFECTIONS. The dead dry skin will come off on its own.

For right now do nothing but putting cocoa butter on your feet. Cocoa butter will help the skin to heal. Put lots of cocoa butter on your foot at night and wear an old sock to prevent messing up your sheets.
If it is only peeled skin, it could be from a slight sunburn and will go away by itsellf. If it itches and keeps on itching then something else is going on and I would go to a podiatrist. It could be anything from slight callousses to fungus and only a doctor can determine what it is and treat it....

Use good Cosmetics.
Every night before you go to bed, have medium hot water in a pot & deep your foot inside it for 10 to 15 minutes & after that don't forget to wear a Sox in your foot for whole night i.e. during SLEEP.
Take Care!
