You need to have a regular routine as you are feeling a little lost. What I suggest you do is fill the void with activity. I will give you a healthy choice lifestyle plan please consider it as it will get you motivated, confident and you'll feel totally vitalised.
Committment, dedication and total change of behaviour, it's a big ask and people don't understsand that it is really hard but once you are in the zone you can do this.
If you want to do this it is for life so you need to totally change your way of eating and exercising. This is not a diet rather than a healthy eating plan for life. So no more talking diet cause it means time limit. Stop making some major mistakes wake up earlier and get active earlier your metabolism is sluggish and needs to be woken up this is half your problem.
Here are the golden rules:
Initially cut down to 1200 calories.
Exercise 6 times per week for 1 hours a day. Do three weight sessions and three cardio sessions. No gym involved.
Don't eat carbs after 4pm, never eat carbs within 2 hours of exercise or within 1 hour of exercise.
Drink 3 litres of water per day. You can have a green tea at the end of the day.
Limit your fruit in take to 2 pieces per day.
Never eat dinner after 6pm.
Adopt of low GI eating plan this is sustainable for life!
Make low fat dairy choices
Follow this menu plan as a suggestion:
Breakfast 7am - 1 cup hot water w lemon
20 minutes later have a bowel of oats w water (no honey) OR
fruit salad w low GI soy yogurt
Snack 10am - pear or apple (both low GI)
Lunch 12.30pm - multigrain sandwich w 50g tuna & salad (no butter)
Snack 3pm - low GI yogurt OR skim berry smoothie (no honey or banana) plenty of ice, 1/2 cup skim milk & 1/4 cup yogurt
Dinner 5.30pm - 120g grilled lean meat/fish/prawns/tofu patties (not fried) w spinach salad & mixed vegies (no whites, carbs) OR 3 egg white/soy omlette with ham, cheese and tomato
Snack - 1 scoop of low cal low fat ice cream (if hungry)
Exercise is must be intense. Refer to www.bodybuilding.com for your weights routine. Never do weights two consecutive days have a cardio day in between.
Cardio needs to include running, go hard up stair wells and cycling. You get the most benefits from exercise when your body is totally fatigued and this is when you see changes.
To maintain you can increase calories to 1500 and reduce exercise sessions to 3-4 times per week. If weight creeps up again due to holiday period etc.. go back to 1200 cal and 6 sessions again.
Good luck it worked for me it can work for anyone.

Well, first of all I would tell you to stop drinking definitely. Rest enough (from 7 to 8 hours. However, some recent studies suggest from 6 to 7 hours). Drink more than 8 cups of water per day. Eat every 5 hours (your stomach will work better). Get a good diet, if it is vegetarian it would be better. Avoid caffeine, smoking, meat (at least pork, cow, and any other fat source or even the ones that are not good for your health).Take fresh air. Exercise. And make sure to take care of your mind too. Above all trust in God to give you the strength to make a change in your life style.

You should drink lots of water. It is so easy to say that to other people - I don't drink half as much as I should myself but I know it can help your mentality immensely as it makes you feel clean and fresh and more energetic as does fruit and herbal tea. I'm addicted to caffeine myself but I often think if I gave it up and got a good nights sleep once in a while I'd feel a lot more energetic. I think exercising in the morning when you get up can help and in the afternoon when you get to that sleepy stage if you just run or do something energetic then it can make you feel much more energetic. Instead of getting takeaway you could go to the supermarket and just get some grapes or an apple or some other portable fruit or vege that is just as easy to eat as takeaway but much better for you.

Its not about how much you eat its about what you eat. Try more fruits and veggies and less saturated fats. Be sure to eat breakfast, it helps to keep you from snacking all day. Eating an apple with breakfast is great for the metabolism.

he metabolic powers specific foods have to make your body burn more body fat.” It is a way of rating foods, primarily based on “how a lot of calories your body is going to burn just breaking down the nutrients every time you consume a certain food.”
Therefore, you are not alone in this battle.
