I boil the chicken bones and make chicken soup for dinner the next night. (noodles, frozen mixed veggies)
The third night I make the soup into Chicken pot pie!

Here is a very good link which will help you plan your meals and make the most of your budget:

Here are some budget recipes with prices:

There are many more recipes on the internet, of course. Have some fun choosing and making up a budget menu list!
With a low budget it's especially important to make sure that you have a balanced diet first. Also that you have one 'treat' a week or a month or whatever you decide (I would try for a week, if possible). Here are some links to planning a balanced diet:

Shopping for things in bulk will often get you a better deal, so you will probably need a varied MONTHLY menu list.
There are many things which are a lot cheaper (and nicer) if you can make them yourself. A bread maker may seem a luxury item but it will easily pay for itself in a year and you will have much nicer bread into the bargain.

First... plan out your menu for the week. Mine usually looks something like this: Mon: whole roasted chicken (a small one is about $3 at the store!) with veggies (buy frozen, you get more for you $$) Tue: chicken n something dish, using leftovers from Mon. I like chicken n dumplings: boil the chicken carcas from the night before to loosen up all the left overs and make the water yummy. Then remove bones, add some veggies and cook for about 30 more minutes. Mix bisquick (also cheap for a large box!) according to directions and drop in dumplings! Wednesday: meat loaf- 2 # of meat should be pleanty for 3 adults and should leave left overs. Thursday: stir fry!! Chicken or beef or veggie... use less meat than you think you need, just chop it up smaller! Friday: Left-overs from Wed &/or Thurday Saturday: bbq! chicken or hamburgers on the grill with fries! cheap and easy! Sunday: Pot roast!! get a 3-4# roast and throw it in a crockpot with onion, potato, carrot with a little water and a packet of onion soup mix... cook all day (8 hrs- low heat) and voila... sunday pot roast for dinner!! If you don't have a crockpot, you can acchieve the same results with the reynolds oven bags. Read the directions and throw it in the oven! Takes about 2 hrs!! Good luck!! Remember... PLAN PLAN PLAN PLAN!!! Plan your menu in advance Plan your shopping list! Plan on not buying a lot of extras! Plan for leftovers!! We've been doing this for sometime now, I plan my menus for 2 weeks (we get paid every 2 weeks!) and then spend about $100 when I go shopping! I also make sure to keep staples around all the time: spaghetti (cheap!) and sauce (not so cheap, but important!), hamburger (buy it when it's on sale and freeze it!) and hamburger helper (for those nights you really don't feel like cooking much!) It's really not so hard. Just have discipline at the store not to throw in a bunch of crap. :-) Good luck!

What a fool are you. save on other things like, car, drugs, alcohol, prositutes. Never save on food. NEVER.
I spend 150 EUR per week for two adults and we eat only one meal at home (as we are working full time); that doesn't even include the drinks. And no i don't earn much, i am only a junior financial manager with an income of 4500 EUR a month. And my wife even earns less! what do you say about that?
How do you think you are going to feel good and have quality time without food?!
If you are serious about saving money on food you can live on lost dogs and cats in the streets or even rats if you want to. search trashcans, trashcontainers of supermarkets and son on.
