Yes - it could be considered a true religion because it does have millions of following - I might not be one, but there are many right - we have to respect that fact - In that sense we might ask whether Christianity, Judaism etc. are true religions.

What we should understand here is what is the meaning of the word "religion". It is a belief ha ?

Islam seems to be a breeding ground for the mentally ill and truly psychotic. Maybe allah and that prophet guy didn't do such a good job of making it clear that slaughtering innocent people isn't right. See what happens when humans start taking the absurd seriously. Religion is very bad for your mental health!

Islam is a Semitic religion, which has over one billion adherents all over the world. Islam means "submission to the will of God". Muslims accept the Qur’an, as the word of God revealed to His last and final prophet, Mohammed (peace be upon him). Islam states that Allah sent messengers and prophets throughout the ages with the message of Unity of God, and accountability in the Hereafter. Islam thus makes it an article of faith to believe in all the earlier prophets, starting with Adam, and continuing with Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, John and Jesus amongst many others (may peace be on them)

The most concise definition of God in Islam is given in the four verses of Surah Ikhlas which is Chapter 112 of the Qur’an:

The most concise definition of God in Islam is given in the four verses of Surah Ikhlas which is Chapter 112 of the Qur’an:

"Say: He is Allah,
The One and Only.
"Allah, the Eternal, Absolute.
"He begets not, nor is He begotten.
And there is none like unto Him."
[Al-Qur’an 112:1-4]

The word ‘Assamad’ is difficult to translate. It means ‘absolute existence’, which can be attributed only to Allah (swt), all other existence being temporal or conditional. It also means that Allah (swt) is not dependant on any person or thing, but all persons and things are dependant on Him.

Most importantly islam is the only religion that claims ultimate superiority over all the religions.
therefore ISLAM is the true religion as prescribed by Allah..as in the quranic verse:“THIS DAY, I HAVE PERFECTED YOUR RELIGION FOR YOU,COMPLETED MY FAVOUR UPON YOU,AND I HAVE CHOSEN FOR YOU ISLAM AS YOUR RELIGION.”

Of course, Islam is the one true religion of Adam until Muhammad (pbuh) others are simply misguided, for the Qur'an is the Last and Final Testament.

if a same kinda question is asked but instead of `Islam` the word is `Hinduism`, what would you say? or any other religion, would u say they're fake? you wouldn't cuz u cannot, no religion is fake. all religions r different, with their different means of worshippin and diff. ideologies and Gods, but they kinda have the same message don't they? even pagans had a religion; they worshipped Nature, which is also a kind of religion and is not fake.

Actually, I believe in the Force, as explained in the movie Star Wars. Think about it... we exist on Earth, the Earth exists in the Universe, therefore WE exist in the Universe and are part of the Force.

Definitely NOT.All religions are a set of rules used to control people. To believe in God is not about religion.
