Will not display under run command as in other windows operating systems.

use "msinfo32" command & than goto tools tab and find startup info.

If i am not mistaken I think it is the same as XP in that you just type "msconfig" in to the run box and hit enter. The MSConfig util will appear and there is a tab for Start up options. just uncheck apps. you don't want to start when Windows first loads.

there is no msconfig in 2000 alternatively you can do ....
go to RUN type REGEDIT
go to hkey Local Mchine
then Software
then microsoft
then windows
then current version
then Run
these entry those are shown here are the entry which run automaticaly runs everytimes your computer started
you can remove them or add as per your requirement

msconfig is not loaded in the win 2000
for that, you can copy windows XP msconfig(c:\windows\system) to windows 2000 (c:\windows\system32)

Download msconfig.exe from http://www.techadvice.com/specs/files_st1.asp?fnid=3398288 and it should work on windows 2000 also.
