The bible is talking to people who have a job to do, it can include 1Thes.5;14; comfort the feebleminded.
1Cor.15:2; It is very important to remember, Paul can not relate the word and neither can any one else, even for himself, if the memory is bad.
It is time out to get well. Handle God word carefully.
Jesus was to send a Comforter to those he was with to help their memory and they were normal.

I would say yes, to an extent. Some memory loss affects little things like where are the keys...but then long term memory loss affects self-defining memories. I think the self is contained in our memory.

loss of memory only means that you have had some chemical/physical injury done to the part of your brain that stores the memory
but you'll find that most people with memory loss will only be temporary or that they will remember some things and not others
loss of memory does not create a loss of emotion and i feel that the " self " is more than just what our brain stores but also how we feel
the " self " is made of ( i believe ) of so many parts of us and not just what we remember

the way you as someone analyses issues and how you be conscious the international ought to doubtlessly no longer be the way the international sees you. issues wander away in interpretations and we carry upon ourselve undesirable destiny. The things you're saying about your self have a significant result. The self it is you perchance over inflated contained in the eyes of an similar self yet contained in the eyes of the wider society it should be some thing else. maximum individuals do not love themselve how can they love all of us an similar way..the flexibility is vacant. All boils right down to detrimental wondering and also you're what you imagine.

Exactly - the 'I', sense of self and concept of soul are mental constructs that arise from the coherent persistence of memory generated by neurological processes in the brain. One those brain processes stop, the mental constructs disappear.

I think, therefore, I am.
When we stop "thinking," we no longer exist (in our own minds).
Our personality, or "self," is strictly a matter of conscious awareness (thinking) and when our brain stops functioning, we no longer exist as a unique personality.
