I think you're too stressed. You need to know your mental health is absolutely essential to raising good kids and having a stable family. offload some responsibilities to children if they are able and you and your husband enforce them with teamwork. I would read psychology book and things like that which put me to sleep in 5 minutes! Sure beats the medicine!!! But find the right material that puts you to sleep and read it. It works, the more tiring the better. Take time of day to relax, like 30 minutes or 1 hour and if you're too busy, then MAKE TIME. it's essential that you take care of yourself, your children and husband need to recognize and help you with this. I would never take meds for just any reason (unless my life depends on it)!!!

i don't think of you're nuts in any respect! yet I do imagine try to be both versatile and lifelike. Your hubby appears like a keeper, yet earlier-the-actuality help, even as nicely intentioned, has no relating reality. i don't know what u . s . a . you're in, yet in the U. S., once someone starts down the direction of med college and rather residency, it consumes their finished life. people can extremely shelter relationships now to not educate improve a kin. My cousin is/replaced into in a very similar boat. She took her GMATS and replaced into prepared yet then proper earlier graduating uni, she were given pregnant. So she were given married and had 3 little ones in quick succession! She hasn't given up her plans, yet she's style of reinvented them so she's now going for her PhD in genetics and needs to do genetic counseling. In you case, i'd truthfully shop going ahead with the midsection classes to get your BA and shop all ideas open. Even going to medical college is a danger yet you should ought to hit upon a application that takes longer and enables extra flexibility. or you could p.c. out yet another interest (that's largely what got here about to my cousin) that should be pursued in a way the position you may be there on your household. And in case you do not, and your favor continues to be to be an MD, you should objective this - you'll purely be older than a lot of your classmates. So there are possibilities. do exactly not paint your self right into a nook and make it an all or not some thing form deal, because those hardly ever artwork.

Have you considered trying Yoga? There are bedtime routines you can follow available on video. Another option might be to drink a glass of wine before you head to bed. I'm guessing your kids are small. You might try sleeping when they sleep...I mean as in take naps when they do. Have you asked your spouse for some help to lighten your load? Also, if you're nagged by thoughts of what you need to do the next day, write them down on paper so you can relax and not stress over forgetting. Good luck and sweet dreams!

You need to try ( I know it's hard) to establish a bedtime routine. And stick with it. No exercise for 2 hours prior, no TV in your room at all, make your bedroom strictly that, a bedroom. Whatever you do to make a routine, stick with i for a month. If you go to bed and you haven't fallen asleep after 30 minutes, get up and read for 5 to ten minutes then go back. Never turn on the TV. And if you wake up a lot during the night, lay there at least half an hour before getting up if you cannot fall back asleep.

Make time for yourself at the end of the day to relax in a soothing bath (Epsom Salts and a fragrant essential oil).
Take a hot shower to relax the muscles.
Lavender on the pillow will help with relaxation.
Listen to meditation CDs or calming music.
Stretching exercises help.
Warm herbal tea (Celestial Seasonings makes one called "Sleepytime Tea")
Go for a walk in the cool night air.

Have you try Valerian tea?
It is really helpful and natural.
You may take a warm bath before going to bed and pour some drops of lavender, this is very relaxing also.

Give up - no - I really mean that. As long as you are trying to go to sleep it eludes you. Just tell yourself I am going to stretch out with my eyes closed and rest for awhile - I don't care if I go to sleep or not. That has always worked for me

There's an herb called valerian, that you can get in pill form. Works pretty nicely.
If you're really open minded, try smoking a joint.
