My last name is Greek, and I was wonderin what it translates to in English..

yeap..the correct one is ''kapetanios..'' it means captain..in greece kapetanios would be the surname of a male..for female it would be ''kapetaniou''

The closest I can find in my Greek-English dictionary is "Kapetanios". It means captain (as in, of a ship).

maybe your last name is greek but i am whole a greek!and there isnot such a word in our vocabulary,the kapetanios is the closest word and it means captain!
