Anybody that is interested in a personal painting can get in touch through the site, she can do portraits of people, children, animals, your house, even a copy of a painting you love from a photo

She is very talented. My son was amazed that the Ray Charles one was a painting and not a photo!
With going into business, would be best if she tries to do so in a bigger city, like NY, NY or L.A. where there is a better market for art.
Also, to be marketable and depending on her personal tastes, would be best not to limit herself to just classic art painting. There are many independent movie studios that would love to have an artisit of her talent to do backdrops for their film (ex: all of the businesses out of the window of the airport on "Terminal with Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones were not actually businesses...they were paintings!). While it might not pay well, it is great exposure and could lead to bigger and better things, especially if the independent studio shows their films at major festivals such as Cannes or Sundance.
Good luck!

I think that your girlfriend has a great future in art. She certainly has got what it takes
Have a look on the web for some art sites/publishers, or get advice on starting up a studio.
The portrait of Ray Charles is vivid, expressive and true to life
Best of luck

Yes, definitely has got talent, loved the pictures of the musicans and the child portrait was awesome, somehow got a Vincent Van Gogh feeling! Why doesn't she make a brochure and do some comission portraits.

Lovely artwork! She has what it takes. Much better than what I see in many of the galleries where I live (Northern California). Love the fact that she supports Jazz so much!
Only critique is about the horse picture .. the head is kinda off and the teeth make it look like a alligator more than a horse (I breed/train/show horses so I'm kinda picky).

Not bad, but the prices you're asking are way to high in my opinion. For a painting of that size I'd be expecting to pay a couple of hundred pounds-sterling tops for an unknown artist's work. Of course if you can find someone willing to pay what you're asking...

by the way. I'm an exhibitor as well. though mostly in asian galleries. since ur speaking of prices. try to set a price range... based on per square foot. I doesn't matter whether it was done in 4weeks or in 4mins. what will matter is the content, the materials used, and usually the size. It's sad but true, that's how it usually is

the paintings are great to look at and should certainly sell......if you have a problem in selling them then perhaps initially you should sell it at reduced prices, and once the painter becomes known, you can increase the prices. You could also try to exhibit them in a Art Gallery.

Yes, she has what it takes. But she has to experiment more, be more original, stop painting absolutely classic things. Not to go into business but to become a "serious", maybe respected, artist if that's what she wants.

My first thought looking at them was this:
"wow, they are really paintings!"
They are excellent.
No idea about where you could sell them though. I know if I had the cash, I'd have another look.
