First course, A light salad of mixed greens ( the bagged salad saves time for this) with italian dressing like newmans own balsamic vinigarette. its lite and very well made. and crumbled bleu cheese on top if he likes bleu cheese. the mix of the bleu and italian dressing is a wonderful match and with that mix you can also add candied pecans. to really kick it up. the sweet and savory is amazing together. you can buy thhe glazed pecans now in the grocery store usually with the nuts in the baking section or with the canned peanuts. or just serve his favorite dressing and keep it simple. You can put the lettuce on the plates and keep them in the fridge with plastic wrap on them and put the dressing on the salad just before puting them on the table.

Second course,a rib eye or porterhouse steak on the broiler with a little season salt. 5 to 10 minutes on each side. I would have them on the broiler ready to go and covered in plastic wrap in the fridge. its so simple to do and Men usually love steaks. A1 and worscheshire sauce on the table so its their if he wants it. And dont forget the salt and pepper.

Bake a couple of russet potatoes. They take about an hour at 400 degrees farenheit. All you have to do is wash the potato dry it and rub butter them all over using your fingers. (have the dish washing liquid handy after to cut the grease on your hands after). then sprinkle a bit of salt on and wrap it in foil. and stick it in the oven for about an hour. You can tell they are done when you stick a big meat fork into it and it goes through easily. as the potatos cook, you can set up the steaks for the broiler. When the potatos come out put in the steaks. I would serve the salad just about 10 minutes before the potato is done if you can. If you want to do them early just keep them warm by keeping them in the oven at 200 degrees farenheit with the foil on. Do the steaks right after the salad. they dont take long. or you can put them in while you eat the salad but I would set a timer so they dont burn check them every 5 minutes.be sure to have butter, sour cream and some chopped chives or green onions in small separate bowls on the table for the potatoes and he can doctor his own. Remove the foil from the potato when you plate the food after the salad. Or leave it on and cut a cross in the top of the potato so when he gets it he can remove the foil. just be sure to have small bread plates on the table he can put the foil on.

Then you want to serve it with his favorite veggie. my hubby loves Honey glazed baby carrots. the best way for speed is to cook them on the stove per the package directions. usually it takes about10 minutes from frozen. then drain them well and add a chunk of butter and drizzle honey over them and toss lightly to cover them and your done. you can leave them covered with a lid till the rest is done. then reheat a bit just before plating. Mmmm. its not diet food but its guaranteed to make him happy.

3rd course, for desert I would do strawberries in champagne if you are over 21 or in sparling cider if you are underage. fill the champagne flute with the whole washed strawberries and just pour the golden fluid over them. then as you drink you can pick out the berries and have fun feeding them to eachother.. Mmmmm

you know,, its not how complicated it is, its that you did it. that you made stuff he liked and you took time for the little details like having the condiments out so you dont have to run back and forth to the kitchen. the table set. paper napkins or cloth.. he wont care... so its up to you. have candles lit. (unscented so they dont clash with the smells of the food)

when everything is predone as much as possible you can be there with him and really enjoy being with him. Thats the romantic part.

Hope that helps.

Salad. He won't be impressed, just make it good. Fettucine alfredo next! Chicken, shrimp, or lobster! These choices are ordered from taste and expense. (Pasta is a sensual food, think why!) Garlic/cheese french bread w/ your pasta. Desert is next. Choose it well. Warm chocolate is a must, a la mode helps even more. But the food is not important! Just make the food decent or better. The attitude in serving makes all the difference ( sexual if you want it to be). Appeal to his stomach and his sexuality at the same time! Use your imagination, depending on how romantic or kinky you want to make it. Food is the most sensual stimulant of them all! It's not what you serve, it's how you serve it. Plus, no matter what, your man has at least reached one form of satisfaction, now the other one is on his mind. Serve it with candles, and you're in! Just make sure you are serving yourself with the meal. He'll never forget it! Especially if you are still "hungry" when the meal is done! Dining is NOT about the food; it's about the "EXPERIENCE!" Make it a good one for him. If he is a good man, he will return the favor, and all your hard work will be rewarded.

Is he vegetarian? Guys love steak. If you grill steak, get a Ribeye steak. You don't even have to season it and it will taste good. If you want, sprinkled some salt & pepper and youo're good to go. Pair it with roasted potatoes sprinkled with rosemary, olive oil, salt & pepper.

Try making Panna Cotta for dessert. It's easy and you can use heart shaped molds. Just look up a recipe on the web.

Appetizer-hmm, how about a delicious salad? You can get a bag from Trader Joe's for really cheap, throw in some roasted walnuts, slices or pear or apple, some goat cheese, and some dressing. Easy. I love the dressing from Brianna's, the one with the strawberry on the bottle. I can't remember the flavor though. I think it's balsamic vinaigrette or something.

Good luck!
