are you talking as a Comissioned Officer( MD, PA and RN) or as enlisted?
In order to be Commissioned, you must already have the Degree..BSN for Nursing, and the MD for Doctors, plus have done the internship. The is a program where you actualy go to school on the Navy's dime, but it is EXTREMELY competetive and not many get chosen each year.
Otherwise, you can enlist as an HM. If you already have a degree, you can go in as an E3. As a Corpsman, you will have the opportunity to be taught different fields of study, such as Radiology or Physical Therapy, but none of the C schools are guarenteed, only the basic HM A school.

It's pretty hard to get in & very expensive. You won't be able to do the kind of medicine you want till you pay all that off, THEN you can start buying nice things & saving for retirement etc. Why don't you commission (ROTC, maybe even with a scholarship) and get them to pay for med school. MUCH better arrangement.
