There are some real mean people in this world but not all bosses are mean. What some people fail to realize is it is their job to supervise. They are responsible for everything in the end. If you mess up they answer for it too. That's why they are the boss. Try being one before you criticize yours.

Sometimes it can be your own attitude causing your problems. A more positive outlook is what is often needed. After all if you expect the worse you will never be disappointed.

That cruelty means not really bad but they were just acting as an authoritative,to dominate what the rules they want!They should not show being pleased by everybody and the way they command you and speak to you is to the max level as they want to give gap between them and the employees!Bosses are the problem absorber of the company, they have a lot of pressures that is why most of the time,they lose their temper,but nothing personal about what they did with you but those were just for business purposes only! If you were become aboss someday you will realize why they have such an attitude as terror! Just be patient because someday you will be the one to terrorize your employees(LOL)!

Basicly there are two reasons:
-they are not satisfied with your dealing with your responsibilities;
-they want to have power over you and to use their position.
True boss should understand your problems and help you to overcome it with helpfull advice and with compassion like real father. They should appear equal to you and never lose nerves. The boss that loses nerves and is cruel with you should be reported to authorities and to give some pills to him or her to relax. Bosses that are cruel are sick people.
