I should've added: Don't say 'Prove he doesn't.'
I was looking for well-thought-out answers here.

I can only logically prove something exists through it's effect on the world around me. Since I also believe that we are in fact inside our god, made up of our god itself, and the rules of reality are made by our god or gods, it will be very difficult to prove a god exists without holding my own existence up as proof, but I do have a small amount of proof.

Medically, belief in any god has been shown to affect people who learn of an illness or who are recovering from surgery in a positive way, speeding up recovery and in some instances defying statistical probability by making the patient well from even fatal diseases.
This is one effect that proves there is a god.

There is also the coincidence effect, when probability and what we understand about reality appears to cease to exist, such as when an 80+ year old woman lifts a car wreck off her grandchild, or when you win at the same number on roulette 10+ times in a row.
The fact that these things can occur show that even when probability is negligent and a possibility does not exist in nature something tips the scales and allows it to be done.

These are only a couple forms of proof, and since we actually know very little about reality, it may be some time before we find any other proof.

Look at it this way, if an in an infinitely large room, an infinite number of monkeys type at an infinite number of typewriters, and one will eventually reproduce the complete written works of Shakespeare, then in our infinite universe, there has to be one or more areas in which a god will have a visible effect on reality, or even have a personification. This effect on people by belief has been shown to exist here so it may be stronger or weaker in other areas, but the fact that this effect has been shown to exist even in minute amounts here, shows that there is a god.

This in no way means that any human religion is correct or incorrect, and does not imply that anyone will be denied entrance to a heaven or nirvana.

This also does not exclude reincarnation, or multiple deities, which could be facets of existence within a god.

Philosophically you could say if it occurs to you that there might be a god, then there is a god, even if you choose to deny the existence of a god.

Dear Corporealphantasm,
Its illogical to say that there is not any God. It has been proven scientifically. The Quran is the MOST SCIENTIFIC religious scripture available on the face of earth. Not a single scientific statement mentioned in the Quran has been proven to be scientifically wrong. I CHALLENGE you to point out a single mistake to me in the whole Quran. But there is a part of Qura'n which has not been proven scientifically correct, neither it has been proven to be wrong. This part is ambiguous.
Suppose 80% of all that is mentioned in the Qur’an has been proven 100% correct. About the remaining 20%, science makes no categorical statement, since it has not advanced to a level, where it can either prove or disprove these statements. With the limited knowledge that we have, we cannot say for sure whether even a single percentage or a single verse of the Qur’an from this 20% portion is wrong. Thus when 80% of the Qur’an is 100% correct and the remaining 20% is not disproved, my logic says that even the 20% portion is correct. So the concept of belief in one God falls in that 20%.
Suppose there is an UNKNOWN OBJECT which no one in the world has ever seen. I ask u to tell me the first person who will be able to explain the mechanism of that unknown object??? Manufacturer, Producer, Creator.. right? Qura'n tells us that Every living thing has been created from water. Quran told us this 1400 years ago. Science has gotten to know it just yesterday.
Quran says that the light of moon is the reflected light. Quran told this 1400 yrs back. Who could have written it??
Quran describes the water cycle in great detail.... Who could have mentioned it in the Quran fourteen hundred yrs back?
It gives us EXACT shape of an embryo during its early stages. Quran says embryo is a leech like substance, something which clings. It has been proven by science today that embryo and leech have a striking resemblance.
Qura'n explains the circulation of blood which was first discovered by Ibn-al-Nafees during 13th century. But Quran mentioned it before him. Who could have mentioned it?????????????????? tell me..
Quran gives us the exact GEO-SPHERICAL shape of the earth. Quran was revealed 1400 yrs back. Who could hv mentioned it in the Quran 1400 yrs back.????
Is it possible for a human being to mention all the scientific facts mentioned in the Quran?? more than a 1000 verses in Quran speak about science, out of which not a SINGLE VERSE has been proven to be wrong.
Do u know about the theory of probability?
Lets apply this theory to the Quran. If you do this, answer would be ZER0000.
Albert Einstein has right said, "Religion without science is blind and science without religion is lame".
If you can just give me the answer that who could have mentioned all these and various other facts and prophecies in the Quran 1400 yrs back other than God (Allah), then i will agree with u. Allah says in surah Anbiya, Ch:21:
"Will you not then believe?"
Quran is asking you the question. It wants reply. You are seeing the signs of Allah, yet you do not accept them.

Think about it. All the laws governing the Earth and the Universe plus all the laws of physics. All that mathematics and you'll realize there is a certain consistency and logic governing our existence. Nothing is haphazard and it's like everything has a cause/effect planned. Nothing is by random chance. What mankind knows is but a drop in the ocean. That's why God is all powerful. And no, I don't think God is an old man wearing a white toga with long flowing beard. Actually, who knows how God look like?

Irreducible complexity...that is your answer! Study the eye, sonar, water lillies, octupi, kangaroo gestation, radar, photosynthisis, the "simple" cell, mud-dobber wasps, etc. The list is endless...literally. There are so many complex systems on this planet regarding life, organic, plant and animal...and the utilization of systems untangible such as sound, waves, rays, phospherous (how did DNA know that glowing would be useful?), wind, rain, (how can a spider migrate without wind and how did the little baby spiders know to use it..they actually wait for a breeze...? I could go on for days but...intelligent thinking, observation and scrutiny will tell you that intelligent design, ominous power and boundless creative love put it all together and keeps this controlled, uncloned chaos from bursting into the ka-zillion atoms and molecules everything is made up of. You don't need a Holy book of any kind to point to a creator...you are standing on and in His handy work...Since the beginning all He has ever wanted us to do was to acknowledge and trust Him and He has left nothing to chance to make sure we all could see with the naked eye that He Is. Love in Christ, ~J~ <><

The answer to your question is - I can't.

I KNOW God exists, because I have been a Christian for 37 years, and as I look back over my life, I see there has been plan and purpose to it. I have a relationship with God, so of course He does exist, but I cannot prove God exists scientifcally, because God is God, He is bigger than science.

I have seen God at work in my life and the life of many others who I know. Down through the centuries, billions of people's lives have been changed by the transforming power of God. People who have murdered, and lived the most awful lives, have often suddenly been radically changed.

God works in my life every day. I see His hand guiding me, and He has made me into the person I am today. I am not perfect, but I am forgiven, and as I seek to live for God everyday, by His Inspired Word - the Bible, then it changes me, making me more like Him each day.

If you want to think logically, then in order to have a design there has to be a designer. In order to have a Creation, there has to be a Creator. After all, who made your watch, for example. Would you deny the existence of the designer or maker of your watch? Of course not, it would be absurd and illogical.

Look up at the sky, what wonderful blue with white clouds.
Go to the beach or ocean, look out at the vast water, deep and wonderous.
At night, look up at the sky again, look at all the stars in the sky, shining so far away.
Listen to the children laughing and playing.
Listen as a newborn is crying, while it's parents hold it for the first time.
Watch as an Eagle soars high above in the sky.
Look at all the wonderful wild animals in the world.
Look at the Natural wonders of the world.
Look into the eyes of a child,
and tell me you dont believe a superior being created all of this.

God exists because of the following:
1. You existed,
2. He was the origin of all things,
3. He was the ultimate cause why things exist,
4. All things come to an end except him,
5. You die and will be forgotten but God was never left out, and
6. Majority of the people believe in God,
So, believe in God.

My brother had a speach problem when he was young cause his tongue was short and needed to be cut underneath during surgery. My mom went to church one day with him and prayed for his sake.A few minutes later God heard her prayers and my brother's tongue was cut in a miraculous manner. He didn't have to do surgery anymore and he speaks like a normal boy now.
Another miracle happened to my little cousin. While he was running in the house,he didn't see that the glass door was closed and he ran right through it.He had small cuts and had to do surgery.I saw him going through that door and all he had were a few cuts. His head and neck and almost the rest of his body was untouched.
I hope these 2 examples prove that God exists if you believe.

A watermelon is blue on the inside until you cut it open. Prove me wrong.

We see the effects of the wind, but the wind is invisible. We have records of history, but it is by "faith" that we believe certain historical events happened. Television waves are invisible, but an antenna and a receiver can detect their presence. The unregenerate man likewise has a "receiver." However, the receiver (his spirit) is dead because of sin (Ephesians 2:1). He needs to be plugged into the life of God; then he will come alive and be aware of the invisible spiritual realm.

Not to be rude to the Islamic religion, but the Bible was written more than 1400 years ago. The observation I am making is that the Bible is older than the Quaran and the same sort of scientific information is available within it also.
