You shouldn't want to have a relationship just to have one before high school is out.
Relationships are about committment to each other, mutual friendship and support, along with other things most of us adults out here won't mention to a young lady such as yourself.
You are young, if a relationship hasn't happened then you haven't met your mate. And you're very lucky not to have met some jerk -- there are a lot out there. In high school I had a female friend who went through this exact same thing, right about your age. She got so distraught about it that she went down to Florida specifically to have a "fling". The guy didn't just leave her -- he stole all her money too and left her high and dry the next morning. She was devastated by it, total change in personality.
So chill girl.
My first relationship was in college.
If you ask me now, it's better to wait until you're older and more mature.
The reason for this is that even the wisest and most intelligent, beautiful, and caring people still have break-ups -- look at celebrities. You handle it much better when you're older than when you're younger.
You also handle the love and respect within the relationship better than you do when you're younger.
Go have fun. Listen to music. Go out with your friends.
Don't worry about hooking up with someone -- let it just happen.
If you really are pretty, believe me Mother Nature will take care of you when she's good and ready.

You just keep being yourself, just remember though its OK to be smart and ambitious, but if what you want is just a HS fling with a jock there, you are going to have to pretend you are not so smart and ambitious, from what I remember, in HS guys liked the girls who were gaga over them not the smart intimidating ones.

Your job as a girl is to let the guy know you're interested and let him make the first move. Smiling at him, eye contact, flirting, that kind of thing.

just be more aggressive and aks guys out...it doenst hurt anything...plus alot of guys are just too chicken...and you said you are smart, attractive, and whatever else you said...so you are probably intimidating to guys...and whatever guy that sacks up enough balls to actually ask you on a date is probably going to be an asshole so your better finding a guy that you think is cute of some merit and asking him out your self.

The best tip i can give you is to be yourself. Don't let anybody change your personality. And if you are always in a good mood that's great to attract people.
