I doubt that very much.Although team India is in very good shape at present, i think India is goin in to this world cup in argueably its worst shape....as all the big names who fired in the past for India have either vanished like Sourav or are nearing their end of their careers like Sachin Tendulkar...So, it seems India will surely go in to the world cup depending a lot on the young blood which does not mostly work in a world cup as it is atleast one Tournament which always requires more of experience than youth. So, at this stage, the writing is on the wall that India is almost facing the same situation like the West Indies of the 1992 world cup, wherein all their big guns where queuing up for retirement and hence the great West Indies could not compete against the other big nations ...Hence,I am very sorry to give the verdict that chances of India winning this world cup is pretty bleak.
