I heard many girls say that guys should only pay for the first or maybe the second date but once your a couple it is dutch,unless it is a special occassion or ones broke.Do you believe in the whole first date guy pays ,when your a couple it is dutch.I always thought it was dutch for your 1st and second date but after that he pays.

what matters is that you both agree on the outcome.
and that neither one feels obligated to the other for the money.

Kinda had to laugh at this one because it brings back some memories... okay.. here's my 5 cents worth...
When I was young and gorgeous, I always had the guys pay for the "privilege" of taking me out, 1st, 2d, etc. dates... and I didn't even "put out".
Now, I'm old and ugly and insist on paying my own, unless I'm invited. Basic rule is: If you ask me out, you pay. If we both decide to go out, it's dutch.
I'd say, whoever does the asking does the paying, regardless whether it's a first or second or follow on date.

dutch on the 1st and 2nd and the guy or girl pays after, depending on who got paid first. Most of the time it is the one that picks the place to eat. Sometime boyfriends and girlfriend go dutch on dates sometime. So talk to the person who you are dating to find out who is paying.

If the other way round , then he can pay or even u could pay.

Call me old fashion but I like it when a guy offers to pay for the date, no matter what stage your in with the relationship. But this type of thing depends on the girl & what she feels is "the right thing to do"

I think if its a date date, then the guy should pay...I mean he asked you..so he should pay...I mean it also depends on the seriousness of the date...if he is taking you out to a nice dinner..yea...if he is taking you to play miniature golf...maybe not so much...its really up to the people that are going on the date.

i think it should be dutch most of the time or switching off. but ultimately it's what you find comfortable, although on a first date, if he insists on paying don't make a big deal of it, just tell him you'll get it next time.

Babe...this is something new to me. There is no such thing. It depends on both of you. In my opinion, eventhough he is the guy he doesn't have to pay everything and every time. It should be equal I think. You both earn money and so on. You are ONE, so act like that as well. Be fair to each other.

.i who ever has the money pays there is no rules . I go by if i take her out i pay . I if she wants to take me out she pays But even if she pays for dinner make sur e you bring the wine and pay for the taxi
