Why cant my boyfriend handle my honesty?

My boyfriend always tells me to tell him the truth and be honest about what i feel (including in the bedroom) but sometimes he makes me feel like he doesnt want to hear it, what can i do ?Should there be a limit on how honest i should be?

The fact of the matter is that TRUTH HURTS sometimes. Maybe it has to do with the way you're conveying your honesty to your boyfriend. I dont think that there should be limits on how honest you should be to your boyfriend. When u speak of limits, it sounds like you're on the edge of lieing. Honesty is good in relationships, it helps build trust and other key components that helps a relationship thrive. Maybe his reactions are due to the fact that he doesnt truly think you're being honest to him. Or maybe you're being too blunt. Or maybe u should only tell him these things when he asks you or u feel its necessary to bring it up. good luck!

Another problem with software of boyz, when u say i like u, they think u r bluffing. Tell him everything when u think he's going 2 ask u only, not when he's not interested. May be that time he's interseted in romance with u. So feel the situation what he want obviously this will work like Newton's Third law :
To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

In other word's when u give him what u want then he will reply in same sense.

Well truth hurts.. you know that..It's good to be honest with your boyfriend and not lie to him however I think some things you must be very careful how you will say them.. silly example: if he asks you if he's handsome and you think he's not don't just tell him no baby you are not.. that's ouch..find something else you like and comment on that..You know what I mean?
Also something else, everytime you tell him something that think of how you would feel if he said it to you.. On the other hand if he feels bad with every lil thing u say to him then i guess he's just insecure and needs to feel that you really love him and like him the way he is..

If you have to limit your honesty, especially in the bedroom, then you have the wrong boyfriend! Move on before the cheating starts and people get hurt! If you can't be honest with your partner in all things....you have the wrong partner!

No there should be no limit to ur honesty.Tell him ur honest opinions keepin in mind not to make him feel bad. The way things r told matters .For eg , don't tell him he is bad at bed, tell him he is making some mistakes in bed, tell him he can improve slowly. Be polite yet firm , like a mother to her child. Mother's never tell thier kids of limitations , they explain and make understand in a loving n soothing manner. All da best

You know there was an old country western song by Kenny Rogers or someone once, it has a line something like "you have to know when to hold em, and know when to fold" he is referring of course to Poker and applying lessons learned from the game to life.

I think the trick is, to be honest without being hurtful. Thats just assuming thats the way your headed, examples of this would help!

I've been in a situation like this.He wouldnt tell me. But the idiot gave out a hint. In his signature over txt it said 3-16-9-18 or something like that. He told me it was a 'god' thing. I googled it. I found out he was a crip. You will find out eventually
