As such I have never heard of it...
But there ARE oily fruit:
The AVOCADO is one...
the oil of the avocado pear is used in cosmetology, to make creams for dry skin, etc.
Then there is the oily fruit above all others...
the OLIVE
And though olives are edible by themselves,
(once processed...don't ever try to eat one directly off the tree!!), the olives main purpose in life is to end up as OLIVE OIL...
Mainly found in the mediterranean countries.
The best olive oils are from Spain, Italy and southern France (in that order)
Most other oils are obtained from seeds such as, for example, sunflower, safflower or soy...
Than there are vegetable oils such as that obtained from corn.
(There may be other oily fruit, but avocados and olives are the only two I can think of.)
