I can't go to bed early and i sleep late. As a result, I wake up late. This pattern has disturbed my body clock and affected the other activities like morning exercise, concentration, etc.

Generally, most young boys have this 'sleeping late - waking late' problem. But i've had enough of that and i feel bad for this irresponsible behaviour. My morning time goes to waste because of this sleep disorder. I don't know why i become so active in evening instead of being active during the day time. I'm an artist by nature. I want to break this habit and behave as responsible person.

Please, any suggestions?

SIMPLY SLEEPY sleeping pills, I used to stay up on the phone all night, and then when I tried to go to sleep like at 2am, I couldn't even do it. Lol, but then I took 2 of those pills, set my alarm to 7am and knocked out. Commit to waking up early next morning. Next night I was sleepy by 11. But then I took those pills again just to make sure.

After that, I could sleep normally again. And dont worry SIMPLY SLEEPY sleeping pills are NON-HABITUAL forming. Says it right on the box.

1. Get help from your friends or your family.
2. Allow them to kick you out of your bed early.
3. Keep yourself REALLY busy during daytime.
4. Avoid short naps during the day.
5. Have early dinner/ eat light for dinner/ fast during night time.
6. Do something boring during the night time.

Any action repeated over a period of time becomes a habit.

Try some herbal sleep aids "Valerian Root" and "Kava Kava".
Valerian root and Kava have calming and almost Valium like effects, that will put your mind at ease, and stop those one million thoughts in your head.
Or some amino acid precursors like "5-HTP", "Gaba" or "Melatonin". These all work on either increasing tryptophan (pass out chemical) or shutting down epinephrine (wake up chemical).
I have had the best results with "Melatonin and Gaba" with a glass of wine.
Good luck, I mean Good night.

change your schedule. i also used to have that prob. what i did is that i had an early lunch and dinner. i had lunch at 10-11 and dinner at 4-5, plus try to do some really strenuous workouts during the day. you'll be sleeping in no time. hopefully, when you start sleeping early, continue the schedule for at least 3-5 days; then you can just start making your schedule more normal. trust me, it worked for me. :) p.s. i advice you to eat fast too. eating for 30 mins. to an hour for me is such a waste of time when you can really just eat for 10 -20 mins.

wake up early and whatever you do, don't take a nap in the afternoon or evening.. then sleep early.. try that at least three days, you'll start getting the hang of it and you'll start getting sleepy earlier, as a consequence you'll be waking up earlier. Just keep it up and it'll become your new habit.

You can just force yourself to get up. Make appointments earlier than you used to. And i've learned gradually waking up dosn't help. Set the time you need to get up at, and do it. Also try not to eat after 6 or 7 pm.
