Murders and mentally retarded go to heaven too.
I am not sure I would enjoy that place.
Can I get a single room or be able to be with who I want to be with?

God said it would be better that a milestone be hung around their necks. I think there is a special place in Heaven for child molesters.

It would seem unfair, wouldn't it? To allow such a thing. But let's consider why someone wouldn't go to heaven.

Naturally, someone would be sent to hell by God if they had committed sin. Everybody on the planet can lay claim to that.

Sin is the most evil thing in the world. Truly, it is the only evil thing in the world, because all evil deeds are a result of sin.

God is forgiving, but he doesn't give it out to people who don't ask for it. The only way that a child molestor, murderer, or a petty thief can go to heaven is to repent of their sin and turn to God.
God washes their slate clean, for him it as if they had never sinned. However, that doesn't mean that the person will not ever sin again. God has forgiven all of their sin, but if they have truly repented, they will come more and more to despise their sin and wish to not commit them any longer. This is a big word called progressive sanctification.

People are imperfect, even the forgiven ones. When we get to heaven, we will be free from all temptation to sin. It won't matter whether you share a room or not really. We will have God Almighty with us there, our awe of that fact will far outweigh anything else.

(that doesn't mean it's boring either. After all, it's God, the Creator of the Universe, I think He'll have enough there to keep us occupied)

Why are you judging child molesters to Heaven? What makes you assume God will? People sin, no matter how awful it is. God could've said "the heck with all of this" and erased everyone off the face of the planet, but he didn't. So instead, he made salvation equally available to everyone as a second chance. It's like forgiving your own child if he were to harm you real bad, you still love him anyways since he's your son. God still loves us 'cause we're his children.

If you put murders and mentally retarded people in the same category YOU will not have to worry much about heaven. You will share a room with the devil himself. You are pretty sure of yourself to assume you are getting in with an attitude like yours!

Hi there.

Here's how I like to look at it.

Paul, one of Jesus' disciple used to be named Saul. Saul was a persecutor of Christians. Saul was a KILLER! But what did Jesus do? He had a plan for Saul. Saul became Paul. Paul did a complete turn around. He was truly converted. Instead of killing people for their faith in God, he was preaching the Word of God to win souls.

Why is it that we can accept Paul a former killer, yet not accept a murderer like the BTK killer?

God loves the sinner and not the sin...Heaven will be a wonderful place because Christ is there.

God Bless.

As I Christian I believe that anyone who accepts Christ as their Savior and asks God for forgiveness of their sins is accepted into heaven. This includes pedophiles, murderers, homosexuals, adulterers, liars, thieves, drug dealers, and everyone else no matter what their sin. As for afterward, well if Christ is their Savior their eternal souls will reflect Christ's love.

Is that justice? Most ppl will say NO. And I agree. It isn't justice. If justice is what we seek than we not only condemn "those type of ppl" but we also condemn ourselves because there is not one person living who is free from sin. Not you, not me, not anyone. Justice is getting what we deserve and that would be eternal condemnation, or hell if you prefer. Mercy is getting a reprieve of what we deserve and that would be a second chance. Grace is what God gives us and that is what we most certainly do not deserve. The Kingdom of God. So really what do you wish for, not only for "those ppl" but for yourself as well?

God does'nt judge you, you do he will sit next to you watching your life review with you of all the good you did and all the bad you did and not only will you watch it but you will feel the feelings hurt and pain you inflicted on the ones you harmed as they felt it and after you relive all those painful experences you will be the one that says im not worthy to be here.
It's your heart he's looking at do you have love or hate in yours?

How can you lump in the mentally retarded with murderers and child molesters?? What did they do?

The key being forgiven. Of course they will, if they are forgiven. I'd imagine there is some serious repentence and heartfelt sorrow for the act/s in order to be forgiven, though. Misery over one's acts worse than a millstone around your neck, so to speak. Like killing, this is not something you can fix or undo. But if truly repentent, yes, killers and sexual offenders can be forgiven and go to heaven. Retarded people will no longer be retarded, and since they weren't really capable of serious sin here on earth, their sufferings earn them a place in heaven.

But don't worry, we aren't all in the same heaven. Like here on earth, we will chose to live where we are comfortable. Like-minded people gather together. There are many mansions. They are not all the same.

Keeping in mind that we are using earthly terms for a spiritual state we can't possibly understand until we get there, imagine yourself right now being invited to live in the home of some very high class people. Pretend that high class means they have high morals, too. I know, it's a stretch, but try. Imagine you are from a lower middle class background, and imagine that means you are good, but not really super-spiritual. I know money has nothing to do with spirituality, just pretend.

So you go to this place, and at first it is wonderful. Later, when the newness wears off, it gets really uncomfortable. Dang! you have to always watch what you say, where you go, what you are wearing, whether the style is right for the event, keep up with current events so you know what they are talking about.... and you just don't know the right manners and the right people. You haven't gone to their kinds of schools and you don't even speak French or whatever. Ballet bores you... Soon even the nice things-- the fresh flowers and light and clenliness all the time.. aren't enough to make you comfortable. You want to go home. You want to be where your friends are and you can flop down on the sofa in your jeans, for goodness sakes! You don't want to be on edge all the time trying to live up to their level.

They wouldn't be comfortable living with you, either. Somebody used to living in a makeshift tent under the overpass would have the same experience at your house. They'd like it for awhile, but then it would be a real hassle to have to keep wiping their feet before coming in, or keeping the noise down at night, etc.

Just as we like to be where we are comfortable here, we will be where we are comfortable in our heaven. We will not be disappointed. It will match us perfectly. We won't want more or less. Except it will be based not on our socio-economic status, but on our level of spirituality.

That's why there is no such thing as deathbed repentence. You'll get what you lived with in life. What oil you filled your lamp with will be the oil you have to burn, and that might mean a really tiny light. You can't give oil to somebody else, they have to make their own. You can't conjure up some oil on your deathbed. You have to earn it all along. Or more like learn it.

It's like learning how to play guitar. It is not hard to understand what you need your fingers to do. But knowing it doesn't make it happen. You can't just suddenly play the guitar. You have to practice. So we have to practice spirituality. We understand what we need to do, but it takes practice to be able to do it. If we don't try all along, we can't hope to be comfortable with people who have been doing this a long time. So we won't live with them. If you live next to a child molester who has been forgiven, either you don't take a lot of heed to what you feel you should do, either, or that child molester has been really spiritual since he repented. IMO
