No it's fair. But you have to understand that he's feeling insecure about this. Perhaps you should just lay low, maybe explain the situation to your friend and see if this dies down. If your boyfriend continues not to trust you and starts to control who you're being friends with, then you should leave him because he has trust issues that he should be sorting out. However, you need to talk to both your boyfriend and your friend and see where you go from there. Good luck.
