The new job that he went to did not turn out to be exactaly what he wanted so he quiet that job too. I am furious at him and he knows it. I'm a very independent woman but, if you are with me you are going to pay your own way. I can handle all of my own bills by myself and he knows this. So he is scared and I am too that if something does not come around for him really fast. I will be telling him to leave my house. Am I wrong in feeling this way? I really don't think so because we are old enough to make better descsions than that. His only words are just stick by me,just stick by me. Yea right!!! And all I say is you had better hurry up and find you a JOB. I might sound cold blooded but, I can't stand a person making FOOLISH mistakes. This was all so UNNESSARY!!! And yea I am pissed off to the utmost.

Its his mistake if he did this, you should support him not money wise but emotionally...You added insult to injury, let him be a man, he will make mistakes, let him learn from it, your not his mother...

When people are just boyfriend and girlfriend they usually aren't at a point where they think their partner has much "input" on their job choices... this is one of the things that differentiates marriage from dating.

So, this is one of the risks of living with someone before you are married or at least engaged or really serious...

I think the best thing to do to have a happier living together relationship is to have a clear financial arrangement where he has to produce a certain amount of money to pay the bills per month - then, if he doesn't come up with that you should 1) terminate the living together arrangement and 2) seriously think about if you want to take a relationship with a "flake" any further.
