first, there's a difference between love (loving somebody) and being in love.
being in love is when you are all perky and happy and when you don't mind anything that person does. it's like wearing pink sunglasses all the time. it's like you don't see anything accept that person (and his/her physical appearance).
when you love someone, you can even send that person to hell (while the two of you are arguing) and have no regrets about it because you care enough for him/her to let that person know that he/she is doing something wrong. that doesn't mean you don't like the person, quite the opposite.
when you care about that person enough to let him/her go (if you realize that things don't work out in your relationship), that's love.

Frankly speaking, love is what is perceived by person concerned. If it is with motive to enjoy the oppurtunity and selfishness, it is lust. If you love because other person acted to your requirements,it is repayment of debt. If IT IS UNCONDITIONAL with motive to make other person comfortable and happy, it is LOVE.
