it's a roadmap - and the puzzles of the symbols can be found in the rest of the Bible. Ezekial, Isaiah, Jeremiah - the "minor" prophets. The Book with the most information about these times and the new earth age is Daniel. You will see may symbols explained.
Important to note that the Old Testament prophecies were written some 2500 years ago about people and kingdoms that basically either disappeared or became not-so-world-significant for a few thousand years. Now they are all back in play as prophesied: Babylon (Iraq), Persia (Iran), Kings of the East (China, North Korea who support Iran), Esau (Russia - normally supports iran), Israel (regathering of lower kingdom of Judah), and the United States and European Union (regathering of lost tribes of the northern kingdom of Israel). They're the main players in this story, 2500 years later. Just 50 years ago, what iran and iraq did meant little to the world.
Israel becoming a country again in 1948 is the benchmark for Jesus' teaching on the generation of the fig tree. He would return when the branch was yet tender.
The Master Yeshua Messiah also taught what signs to look for in the end times which you'll find in the New Testament. important thing is to study as much yourself as you can, because the Bible also guides you clearly on getting through it.

Yes, I take it seriously. However I do not let it ruin my life. Yes, the world will end soon, but that does not give anybody a reason to stop living. I mean it could be tommarrow or 25 years from now.

Now as for the Middle East, we are still safe. See the world will be at peace in the days were the real revalations actually starts. What I mean by the real revalations is the coming of the antiChrist. The Antichrist will either bring about the peace, before sending us back to disorder or we will already have peace when he comes.

The book of Revelation is a very symbolic book. I take it very seriously since it pertains to our last days and also of the Antichrist. It's not a very complex book to understand. It must be read in light of the whole Bible. Jesus spoke is figures of speech, or parables, or symbols. The Book of Revelation is no different. As for the situation in the middle east, and everywhere else being on the brink of war, for that matter, Jesus told us in Matthew 24 that in these end times there would be wars, and rumors of wars, and pestilences, and famines, and earthquakes. These things have increased so much all over the world in recent times, when you stop and realize it. The end is definitely nearer than we think.

Belief is a funny thing.

It doesn't matter anymore that the Book of Revelation (written 1,600 years ago) had nothing to do with todays world. Because so many millions of people believe it to be true, it is true.

This might not make immediate sense, but the power of the human mind to create its own hell and heaven is well documented around us.

Of course, the shopping list of signs in the Book of Revelation does not mean that Christians capable of spewing out endless cut and pastes from the Bible are open to the signs.

I have created one-jerusalem,
http://one-jerusalem.org

I have created one-heaven,
http://one-heaven.org

both foretold in the Book of Revelation...Does that mean I get flooded by Christian writers. Not at all. Not even the Book of Revelation offers a cure for blind ignorance and stupidity.

i sure do.
it's the ending & the last book of the bible.
the situation in the middle east. well i honestly believe that the war(s), will never now end.
they will continue to go on, other nations, states will sooner or later get involved.
things & circumstances will worsen. we'll be hit with poverty. the wars will continue to fight against others.
this is truly the end times like it states in the book of revelation. the prophesy's have already taken place, they've all been fulfilled. in time, like revelations says: the trumpet will sound, the dead shall rise 1st. then the rapture will take place. the 2nd coming of the lord.
now either you're going to heaven or hell.
either or.
get right, or get left.
the entire bible should be taken very seriously.
it's the key to salvation & eternal life.
we don't have much time left. hope your heart/soul is right with god.

Well I'm no Christian, but I used to be. From what I understand, the book of Revelation is about 1st century Christians that were persecuted under the rule of the Roman Emperer Nero.

Now we are in the 21st century. . .

I think whatever relevancy it had then was for their time. In fact, each book in the bible is to be taken in whatever historical context it was written in. For example the Old Testiment books are not to be taken literal today, but understood in the times they were written. Slavery is not condoned today, so the parts in Exodus Chpt. 21 written about how to treat your slaves is irrelevent.

The same is true with every other book in the bible, including Revelation.

Its not just the book of Revelation, here a little there a little, line upon line and precept upon precept. Here is a little something the christians cant comprehend September 12 2006 and that's in scripture sure you have to read and do some simple math (adding) but by doing that you can find prophesy and you might have to actually be called by your Father like the scripture says My Father chooses who he chooses and calls who he calls. Wait what you just cant say hey i believe and all of sudden have enlightenment, for one they still worship pagan gods who know nothing, how do get knowledge from something that knows nothing???Better yet I haven't met one that even tried to keep the laws that their messiah gave his life for by teaching them, instead they try to tell people he did away with them like I don't know how to read!!!Sept. 12 2006 ,nuke, Euphrates river ,beginning of end,a time, times and a dividing of time, seven year peace treaty signed with Israel Sept. 13 1993 figure it out. The whole world is deceived I can plainly see why people are to lazy to even study, the scriptures say nothing about having peace in the end days it says for when they say peace -true peace then sudden destuction comes upon them 1Thess. 5:3

I take it deadly seriously. It is the truth, as is the rest of the word of God.

I'll tell you one thing, The day there is peace in the middle east, is the day you can be sure that the time has come.

The book of Revelation is part of "all Scriputure [that] is beneficial" (2 Timothy 3:16). True servants of God understand the book of Revelation. It's meaning has been hidden from those who do not know God.

Anyone with more then 10% of their brain would take it serious.
Things will continue to escalate, until the Anti-Christ comes on the scene and makes peace. They will sign a 7 year peace treaty, and break it in 3.5 years. Then all Hell will let loose on the Earth for the remaining 3.5 years, when Jesus returns to set His kingdom on the new Earth.
