It's cause my husband is in jail and I feel really bad doing something for myself you know. He can't do nothing at all in there and for me to go out and have a good time I just feel so guilty. I know he would like me to go out and have a good time but on the other hand I just don't think I could do it. I don't wanna just sit home and cry all day. Should I go out and have a good time or just stay at home and do something at home?

Sit down and listen to what your gut is telling you. It sounds like your heart is torn up on this issue, but you know deep down what would make you the happiest. Sorry to hear your husband is in jail, but for you to really be there for him when you need to be - you need to take care of yourself first. What do you know - in the long-run - will be best. If sitting at home with a carvel cake or something will do it - then there you go. But I think what you are really looking for is permission to go out (and I could be wrong). If you really want to do that - go do that - you are not going to do anyone any good for punishing yourself for something another did - no matter how close they are to you.

hey girl, live your life!! go out and have fun! its not ur fault that he's in jail, so get up and celebrate your birthday. if you feel bad go give him a visit first, and then go out. but dont ever sit and cry at home, u can do that every other day!! this is ur birthday, what if there is no next year?

Get a couple friends together and go out and have a good time. You aren't the one who put him in jail, right? Let your friends know how you are feeling and I am sure they will help you have tons of fun! Happy Birthday! Hope you go out and enjoy it without feeling guilty.

How about you come to visit your husband in jail early in the mornig.
Bring mini B'day cake, wine and little present and celebrate with him. To celebrate our party no need always all for us, we can give to the person we love a present too. Hope this will make both of you happy. Make a wish....both of you. Tell him that you wanna celebrate your birthday first with the person who you love very much.
Then after you come back from the jail...you can celebrate with your friends if you want to without feeling quilty.

Tough one moments like these always requires being with people that count visit your boyfriend talk to him nad hang out with frineds and family you do not ned to feel guilty . Birthdays are a time to celebrate our birth>>> other people celebrate our birthdays to show us that they're glad we were born... & we celebrate them because we're also happy that we were born.

You could always have someone to take a few pictures of the celebration & then you could share them with your hubby... it could make him feel good.

Is it your fault your husband is in jail...Didn't think so..Then why stay home on your birthday ??? Go out and have some fun..You can have fun and not feel guilty at least you shouldn't...Then when he gets out he can take you out for a belated birthday celebration........or you could stay in too

So did you put him in jail? Noooo you didn't did you? He put himself in jail with whatever silly thing he did.
There is no earthly reason to put your life on hold just because he has.
Go out with your friends, have a good time and get on with your life.
