I'm in a relationship with a woman, and she has a teenage daughter and and a younger son. They don't have the same morals, and they don't keep house like me especially. So it's hard for me to adapt to there way of living. It's almost as if i'm another Benson.

I'm sorry. it is really hard but I think that if you talk to them and tell them how you feel then you can find a happy medium ^^

Tough one. Being the "substitute" parent can be difficult. Especially if you didn't raise the kids.

Basically, you just have to pick and choose your battles.

What is important to you? What should you look the other way on, and what should you put your foot down on; and make them respect your choice?

It's never easy. But you are the adult, and a figure in their life that could stay with them forever....

Good luck!

it can be hard to make that much of a change, you have a way of doing things, as do they. You will have to come to some agreement with everything or else the relationship will never work
