It's absolutely normal. If I'm not mistaken (and I very well could be), stress lowers your immune system, causing you to be more susceptible to sickness. If you know why you're stressed out, try to eliminate that stress in your life. If you can't, do the whole pampering thing by taking time out for yourself. Take bubble baths, eat ice cream, exercise, whatever. But yeah, stress definitely has physical effects. I already don't remember if you're a girl or a boy, but if you're a girl, it can even stop your period (which isn't actually a good thing, b/c then you might think you're pregnant & then stress out more).

Oh yes, our bodies definitely react to stress. We can get all the fight or flight responses. Our blood pressure may go up, our heart rate increase, all kind of chemical changes can happen. Some of us get sick to our stomachs and some get headaches. I get both. My stomach gets nervous and upset. Plus I get tensions headaches all the time, from tightening my shoulders when I'm stressed. Stress can upset the balance of everything in our bodies, if we don't learn to deal with it. I have finally learned to let go of the things I have no control over- that really reduces some of the stress. And it gives you more energy to focus on the things you can change.

Normal stress is good, and shouldn't make you ill, however, long-term or excessive stress can make you feel sick, because it wears out your body. When you say "stressed out", I assume you mean that this is not day-to-day stress. If you have problems with stress, you should talk to your doctor. He can refer you to someone who can help you.
