God gave you the tooth fairy. The Easter bunny leaves you eggs on the day that Jesus rose from the dead. The gift you get from Santa clause is given because that is Jesus birthday and instead of Jesus getting the presents. God into giving instead of receiving. So he has Santa clause give them too you. So I guess you can say all of those days you spoke of. God gave those things to you.

the tooth fairy doesnt exist - maybe your parents put under your pillow once some money...
the eastern bunny... well, he doesnt exist! :P
santa claus... well, thats really nice and lovely, but that doesnt really connected to any religious aspect...
what about GOD... well, how do u know he doesnt do nothing for you. he does. he's the one that made you live with your parents. with YOUR parents - not with someone else... he gave you the opportunity to live as a human. not as an animal...
the biggest thing we just can ask is have ourselves in heaven. thats the best thing he can do to us.
now.. about your question. God doesnt talk to us because of 2 reasons (by the Jewish religion)
1. We aren't prophets
2. We make too much sins each and every day, some of us dont really belive in him anymore...

Actually he has been talking to other people, if I were you, I would look into the gifts, or blessings, (I'm not really sure what it's called in English) of the Holy ghost.. if you've heard of the gift of healing, there are also the gifts of being able to speak Aramaic, and interpreting, and through these people, God talks to us.. it sounds a little like those TV I-want-your-money-craps.. but the truth is that there are some people (obviously not famous), that really have the gift.. You just have to be completely open so that it happens, and wiling.. the problem is that people want to speak to God to believe, and you have to believe to hear him..

He has been talking to many people for years. So has Mary and Jesus, but most of the time we think they are nuts or crazy.
I mean just recently about 20 years or so Mary talked to some kids in Madgegoria. They put these kids through all kinds of tests. So far they are telling the truth and are not crazy. Another example is Joan of Arc who was burned at the stake because she believed she was following God. I could go on and on, but I think you get my point.

Those that believe give God all the credit for all of the good things in their lives, but none of the blame for the bad things.
God hasn't "spoken" because Christian orthodoxy took over soon after the Bible was written. Only cults on the sidelines were the exceptions.

God may or may not be real. If he even exists, he gave us the choice to think either way. So if you don't belive in god, and he actually exists, he should at least understand your confusion. So I would say, don't worry about it, because he should understand, that is if he is real. If he is not real, then maybe you will just die and that's it. Life is good. Maybe there is no sense in even pondering the question? Goodnight.

God talks to me, you, and everyone else every day, several times a day. The thing is most people will not hear Him, because they do not know His voice.
I have conversations with Him all the time.

GOD is talking and communicating with anyone, every day, every moment. Whenever someone, and I mean any one regardless of label of specific religion, sincerely talk to GOD because she / he is really want His blessing or assistance or help, GOD will talk to the person directly.
Don't take my word for it. Try it by your self and you know. Concentrate, relax and be your self with out formalities or special arrangements, just be truthful and talk to him sincerely.
