I would think that's a possibility, given off campus living is a criteria to be allowed financial aid--and I hope you tell the truth if asked on the application.

However, and do be forewarned, there are ways the lenders can find out if you are living off campus--or defrauding them by "factual omission" on your application. And you'd be amazed at what investigative approaches are available to such lenders.

Yes the government can give you a loan without interest - it's called a subsidized loan.
