I am in no way a bible expert, so here goes my question. If we were all created in the eyes of god. How did so many different races inherite the planet. Shouldn't we all be from the same mold.

Just curious to know. Hope not to offend anyone. Please just give me an honsest answer in your opinion.

Thanks.

There is only one race inhabiting the planet, the human race. Some people think there must be different ‘races’ of people because there appear to be major differences between various groups, such as skin colour and eye shape.

The truth, though, is that these so-called ‘racial characteristics’ are only minor variations among the people groups. Scientists have found that if one were to take any two people from anywhere in the world, the basic genetic differences between these two people would typically be around 0.2 percent—even if they came from the same people group. But, these so-called ‘racial’ characteristics that many think are major differences (skin colour, eye shape, etc.) account for only 6 percent of this 0.2 percent variation, which amounts to a mere 0.012 percent difference genetically.

In other words, the so-called ‘racial’ differences are absolutely trivial. Overall, there is more variation within any group than there is between one group and another. If a white person is looking for a tissue match for an organ transplant, for instance, the best match may come from a black person, and vice versa. The ABC News science page stated, ‘What the facts show is that there are differences among us, but they stem from culture, not race.’ The only reason many people think these differences are major is because they’ve been brought up in a culture that has taught them to see the differences this way.

According to the Bible, all people on earth today descended from Noah and his wife, his three sons and their wives, and before that from Adam and Eve (Gen. 1–11). The Bible tells us how the population that descended from Noah’s family had one language and were living together and disobeying God’s command to ‘fill the earth’ (Gen. 9:1; 11:4). God confused their language, causing a break-up of the population into smaller groups which scattered over the earth (Gen. 11:8–9).

Using modern genetics, it can be shown how, following such a break-up of a population, variations in skin colour, for example, can develop in only a few generations. And there is good evidence to show that the various groups of people we have today have not been separated for huge periods of time.

"Where do all the races come from?"

Some have wondered, if we are all descendents of Adam and Eve, why are there so many races? The Bible informed us 2,000 years ago that God has made all nations from "one blood." We are all of the same race—the "human race," descendents of Adam and Eve, something science is slowly coming to realize.

Reuters news service reported the following article by Maggie Fox: Science may have caught up with the Bible, which says that Adam and Eve are the ancestors of all humans alive today. Peter Underhill of Stanford University in California remarked on findings published in the November 2000 issue of the journal Nature Genetics . . . Geneticists have long agreed there is no genetic basis to race—only to ethnic and geographic groups. "People look at a very conspicuous trait like skin color and they say, ‘Well, this person’s so different’ ...but that’s only skin deep," Underhill said. "When you look at the level of the Y chromosome you find that, gee, there is very little difference between them. And skin color differences are strictly a consequence of climate."

Do not take Bible literally, Bible is not a biology book, it is a theological book, with strict purpose. And written in language of people in the middle east and Little Asia.
You should not use the Bible for explaining science , but to find a religious and moral message.
When Bible says that God has created world in seven days that was the thinking of the man before 4000 years, if the Bible was written today it would probably be written different.
Let's take another analogy, why do you thing that group of stars are named big bear or Little bear why not something else, in the time of the namers there was nothing else to compare, today we would say something like big TV star group or Little radio or giant microwave.
Do not try to find answers of propagation of homo sapience population and creation of races due to different climate and environment in the Bible, writer of the Bible did not think in these terms. He wanted to say God created everything , and since he did not have advanced science knowledge he used sources of local myths to describe his message.

O.K. since nobody knows the answer I guess i will have to tell you it. Don't worry no offence taken.

I don't remember what part of the Bible it was, but here is what happened.

A long time ago everybody in the World lived in one City. This great city was called Babylon. God told the people of Babylon not to build anything on a certain part. (Well, we all know man) Man decided to build a great tower on that spot. It was called the tower of Babol (not sure on the spelling). This angered God.

God then destroyed the great city and changed man (race, language, ect. ect.) This caused man to seperate creating new cities.

When you read Genesis where it says "Let us create man in our image" we should remember that it doesn't say "man created God in their image".

An "image" doesn't necessarily have to be physical. An "image" can also be a reflection. Since God is a spirit (John 4:24) and is invisible (Hebrews 11:27) he has no physical image. Humans, though, do have a physical image.

When reading the account in Genesis, the animal kingdom was created before mankind was. When it came time to create man, God said "Let us create man in our image". Humans reflect Godly qualities that do not exist in the animal kingdom.

Therefore, we are created in God's image, not he in our image. I hope this helps, and please reference those scriptures I quoted, they are the basis for truth.

As for the different races, God created Adam and Eve with a genetic code that would result in their offspring having a large variety of hair, eye, and skin colors, facial features, body types and so forth.

because all people can hint ancestry to one lady type of two hundred,000 years in the past it really is a jiffy. The genes responsible for the vast difference in epidermis tone, facial valuable homes and hair texture make up a minute quantity of human DNA. We use those ameliorations in actual valuable homes to ascertain race socially. Genetically people are exact same, a species is defined loosely as a inhabitants who can breed with eachother and is extremely genetically similar. diverse species of an same genus can create offspring yet there is not data for there being diverse species interior humanity.

while the christians claim that there is only one God, their God. if you read about religious, there are actually other "god being" as well, for example, buddha, allah, goddess of mercy, infinity. etc . so in that sense, maybe god did not created all the races, but all the races were created by many "god", n they happen to live and interact on the same planet known as planet earth. something like that... logical ?

It has nothing to to with the bible (no disrespect God, cause I love the Bible) but it has to do with different regions of the world some people are closer to the equator than others the closer you are the darker your skin and the further away you are the lighter your skin

Here is a Muslim point of view:

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other. Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is (one who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquanted (with all things). (Qur'an 49:13)

Races are products of evolution. Different tribes of cavemen eveolved to adapt to their surroundings, like those in Africa who evolved dark skin to prevent sunburn.
I don't really have a race, because I'm like part caucasian, part chinese and part cherokee.
