The Bible was written by men but God told them what to write. It is not wrong and it is the truth.

Nothing, the Bible is a true account of God the creator's love for all of his children. Jesus came into the world to be a sacrifice for mankind's sin. Actually the scripture that you quoted John wrote with the direction from the Holy Spirit. I believe that the Bible is the truth and pray that all who read it would understand that it is the truth. AMEN

someone can claim that black is white foryears, but that still doesn't make it white. Just because there are people who say Paul and his compatriots wrote the truth, doesn't make it so, these so called witnesses were Paul's followers. Much that is recorded in the torah cn be proven in other writings of the time, butvery little about jesus can be proved, and definitely nothing Paul wrote about him can be verified. besides, quite a lot has been changed by kings and church leaders over the years to "verify" their teachings. Take revelations, the lines that say that paul was only dreaming when he saw that whole thing has been taken out of the newer versions of the bible, since evangelists base their religious doctrine on revelations.

It is unique in its continuity.
If just 10 people today were picked who were from the same place, born around the same time, spoke the same language, and made about the same amount of money, and were asked to write on just one controversial subject, they would have trouble agreeing with each other. But the Bible stands alone. It was written over a period of 1,600 years by more than 40 writers from all walks of life. Some were fishermen; some were politicians. Others were generals or kings, shepherds or historians. They were from three different continents, and wrote in three different languages. They wrote on hundreds of controversial subjects yet they wrote with agreement and harmony. They wrote in dungeons, in temples, on beaches, and on hillsides, during peacetime and during war. Yet their words sound like they came from the same source. So even though 10 people today couldn’t write on one controversial subject and agree, God picked 40 different people to write the Bible—and it stands the test of time.

Nothing is wrong with the Bible. The problem is, many people read it, and don"t understand it. The KJV Bible is the true word of God. It is the truth from beginning, to the end. There are no lost books. The Bible is the true inspired word of God.

What makes the Bible wrong? The words.

(Exodus 32:27-29) and Moses told them, "Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Put your sword on your hip, everyone of you! Now go up and down the camp, from gate to gate, and slay your kinsmen, your friends and neighbors!" The Levites carried out the command of Moses, and that day there fell about three thousand of the people. Then Moses said, "Today you have dedicated to the Lord, for you were against your own sons and kinsmen, to bring a blessing upon yourselves this day."

Moses killed 3,000 people at the behest of God.

(Deuteronomy 21:10-14) "When you go out to war against your enemies and the Lord, your God, delivers them into your hand, so that you take captives, if you see a comely woman among the captives and become so enamored of her that you wish to have her as wife, you may take her home to your house. But before she may live there, she must shave her head and pair her nails and lay aside her captive's garb. After she has mourned her father and mother for a full month, you may have relations with her, and you shall be her husband and she shall be your wife. However, if later on you lose your liking for her, you shall give her her freedom, if she wishes it; but you shall not sell her or enslave her, since she was married to you under compulsion."

It is acceptable to God for you to kill the parents of a girl you desire and then force her to marry you after a month of mourning.

Isn't the Bible wonderful?

The Bible OT is the collected folk tales of wandering tribesmen. The NT was mostly written 200-300 years after things happened and many of the Gospels were thrown out by the men who disagreed with them.

King James told his scribes to "make it poetry". It is allegory and metaphor, not truth.

Some of the biggest hurdles in life stem from ourselves and our attitude. It is very hard to pursue spiritual issues with doubts as most things to do with the spiritual realm are based on faith. To understand the bible and let it prove itself to you you have to believe first then you will understand. What you encounter as you trust, seek, receive revelation via meditation on the bible is a personal relationship with the author God that is truly life changing. Remember deep calls unto deep and you are heading in the right direction just believe then you will understand and all your questions will be answered.

Not only was it written by men, but it was also written to connect with the audience of the time. Roughly two thousand years later, it's rather hard for many, like myself, to be very inspired by this piece of literature. Although apparently some don't seem to have this problem...

There are probably hundreds of book and missing pages from the Bible, that for a person in doubt, it's easy to think the Bible is wrong.
