How do you feal about Cosmetic Surgery?

I want to go to med-school to study cosmetic surgery but some of my family members say that it is an "un-noble" thing to do....I have no problem with it and i think that if there is something to help a person feel better about themselves then they should do it...wut do you think??

I think it is great , as long as the people having cosmetic surgery have been victims of birth defect , or unforeseeable accidents.
I don't have much time for someone who thinks they aren't up-to a certain standard , or their titties are too small so they have to resort to surgery to make themselves feel better.
No matter what people try to change about themselves , the inside stays the same.
People should be grateful with what they have.
Cosmetic Surgery should be reserved for those who NEED it , not those who have money and just want it.

I'm all for it--to an extent. Some people take cosmetic surgery WAY too far though. Kinda like Pamela Anderson's boobs, or Anna Nicole Smith. Getting a tummy-tuck after you've had a couple of kids is reasonable if your stomach is all saggy and covered in stretch marks from the pregnancies. And cosmetic dentistry should be required for some people...lol

I think that if you contribution your time and medical expertise to worth causes your family wouldn't have quite the beef they do. A cosmetic surgeon is a medical doctor, none the less

The idea of catering to self absorbed vain people all day would not be gratifying to me.

cosmetic surgery is a noble field of medicine. through this we can make the human race more pleasant to look at. i believe this is one great gift from God that He give us the option to modify things so we can be comfortable with how we look - most especially on traumatic scars.
