I need a product that I can purchase to remove build up of mouse, hairspray, etc.
I need something similiar to a Malibu Treatment you can get at the salon, I just want something I can buy and do myself. Thanks.

Actually, washing your hair with baking soda will take care of any build up. Just wet your hair down, pour a good amount of baking soda in your hands, and work it into your hair and scalp the best you can. Then rinse. It's as easy as that :) You can also try apple cider vinegar. Takes care of any build up that might be there. :) The vinegar will also help make your hair shiny!

im a hairstylist so i can recommend a few things. as 4 store bought, suave has a great clarifying shampoo.

a good homemade remedy is lemon juice squeezed on the hair after shampooing and combed thru. leave on about 3-5 mins then rinse. style as usual. do this about 2 times a mo.

also u should have at least 2 kinds of shampoo becuz 1 tends to start building up.

Aveda's Scalp Benefits or Aveda's Invati Shampoo and conditioner. I use the Scalp Benefits because I have oily hair and it completely balances my scalp and makes my hair feel amazing. My boyfriend has oily hair and is experiencing some hair loss and he uses the Invati line which has completely stopped the hair loss and has actually thickened his hair. Aveda products are by far the best beauty products I have ever used... And I have tried everything.
