I would listen to/read about/approach things/people that are at least as depressed or more depressed as I am!

One thing that has worked recently for me is sad bel canto operas (Bellini or other composers) sung by Joan Sutherland or Maria Callas ;) Well, Maria Callas was surely more in pain, anger, and depression at points of her life than most people in history ;) Just reading about her life, watching a biography video of her, or listening to her sing makes me feel better.

I hope what I said doesn't make me sound like a sick person ^_^

there are several things , first i take a nap , usually when i am depressed it means i am tired , then i take a long bubble bath , with lowered lights , or even candles , and music definately cheers me up , i love all kinds except rap and hate music , i may make myself a cake , i never eat more than one piece tho but its all about pampering yourself when you feel badly , and sometimes i grab a friend i know who will just listen , not judge or try to help , just listen .

I listen to light music just to relax my mind. After that, I may just play computer games, watch TV or go shopping malls to walk around.

when im sad......i will have craving for cheesecake and raspberry sorbet (i only take specific brands).......
i will buy them then look for a quiet place........i will eat there and spend my time there quietly.......use this quality time to think through things......to me i think that no doubt its good to have people around you to care for you but too many people around you will give you a lot of advices...this can be quite overwhelming at times.......
