I had a very unsettling dream and wanted others opinions.
I was watching myself watch people who I had helped in the past, in the same situation. But there was nothing I oculd do about it. I watched a child I knew be beat by her mom. Her mom just keep hitting her, and no one cared. But in real life I had helped get her away. I watched a friend who used to be addicted to herion and I helped him kick it, shot up over and over again. I watched a dog that, as a child I had addopet after it was hit by a car, get hit over and over agin by the car. Then I watched this kid who had OD'd in my house, who actualy died in my arms. And in the dream I stood three and watched him snort that line and shoot up. But he never actualy died in the dream, the dream keep skipping, like a DVD, and I could do nothing. I was woken up by sirens driving by my house.
Just wondering what it all means?

My guess is that sub consciously you are wondering if your life is meaningful.

Just a guess, but often it comes across to all of us, "Do I really matter, am I making a difference in this World?"

It could possibly be looking to see if the efforts taken was appreciated by other people, it is possible you feel that you are being taken advantage of, or your efforts are not being appreciated.

Sometimes we need to feel that what we do matters, otherwise whats the use?

Just a thought, could be off base.

Sirens are linked with danger.

Even though you are dreaming, sub-conciously, your brain is recieving the audio input of the siren. This disrupted your dream pattern and sent your body into the "alert" mode.

This may have dug out past "bad" memories that came to a different and more "dangerous" ending.

Don't worry too much about it. However if it keeps recurring, consult a doctor.

Hope I helped and God Bless! You can always pray for peace and good sleep.

Maybe you're feeling helpless about something going on in your life now?

Dreams don't usually mean anything literal - they are the mind's way of trying to process things that happened during the day without the control mechanisms that the conscious mind imposes.

As it comes to me...it seems as though you were there. and are in a sense, that being perceived by you, enables the invariant possibilities, actualities and or probabilities, to maintain itself within your vulnerably, intuitive mind and soul...
should take solace that you've been there still are and always will be for other beings at some point in your life ....don't trip...observe...
just an unsettling dream that needs to be defined...again
preparatory to others

Peace.

Sadly, it means that you've done a lot to help all of them, but they never really appreciated your help because they are mean and ungreateful!
it also shows no matter how much or how hard you try to make the right thing, people can get in the way and be ungrateful and make it wrong!
I hope you keep doing the right thing! God bless you

Very disturbing...you feel like you are slipping. You are unhappy w/current situation and a decision is required..you are putting it off and this is your inner self's way of saying "get moving w/it"time to make that change. If you keep avoiding making that change, you will find yourself in the position where you are reacting to life's realities instead of influencing them yourself.

It's probably just your subconscious. Things that are in the back of your mind that really bother you and you try not to think about them and they come out in your dreams. But don't worry about it, it's just a dream.

Sounds like your subconscious mind wants to pat you on the back and tell you you're a great person.

Also sounds like you're a little too intimate with the drug community.

have you been thinking about those people before you go to bed? do you eat before you go to bed? I find if i eat and then go to bed i have weird dreams that turn into nightmares. Your mind is having a hay day with your feelings. It is your mind you can learn how to control it or at least deal with it.
