CALM DOWN! Trust me. I AM 25, and I wish I was a kid again. Bills, having to work hard to stay in shape, and work even harder just to put food on the table is overrated. And it seems like yesterday I was your age. You'll grow up MUCH faster than you think! It's OK. The grass is not greener on the other side. The best years of your life are right in front of you. ENJOY THEM! You've still got time to grow up, but once you do, you'll never get it back, so enjoy life the way it is while you still have it and just take it all in stride. 25 is coming, and it's coming FAST. Focus on what's going on now, and just have fun. That's what your teens are for.

Well my dear, puberty is something you will just have to go through. We as people all go through it. Some have troubles, some don't. And to be 20 or 25, well unfortunately we do get older. You can't stop the aging process. Maybe you can have plastic surgery. But have you seen Oprah lately. They had this woman on and she looked like a plastic Barbie doll and she was only 28 and still wasn't satisfied with herself. Dont rush growing up and getting old. Enjoy your teens as time goes by too fast. I was a teen once and then I blinked and now Im in my 40s.

It something we all go through, "change" it sucks, it gets confusing but ur not alone everyone handles it in there own way. Take it slow, enjoy being young, seriously u have plenty of time to do what grown ups do, after ur 18 you are no longer a youngen, U have 82 years to act as an adult, and only like 8 years once u understand ur growing up to act like a silly kid. It's fun and should be totally taken advantage of. 20 sucks cuz ur so close to being 21 and can't do much but even then it's no biggy, difference is u get to be really labeled as an adult, buy alcohol enter bars and play at the casinos, but if ur not that kind of person, so much for that right, and 25 kinda sucks cuz if u don't have ur life put together u start to look like a loser, meaning once ur 18 u should be taken ur life seriously and then there life's dramas and worries. Being young is so much funner enjoy it.

Puberty sucks--you'll get through it. Just try to not act like a total ***** and don't go doing things 20-somethings do. Enjoy being a teen--you should be having slumber parties and movie nights! I miss that stuff and now it's gone.

Don't worry, your feelings are completely normal. That's good news.
It may sound like typical adult advice, but really, there is no need to rush it. Everyone needs to go through these years to figure alot of things out in life. Right now your defining who you are and who you'll be in life. This isn't a scarey thing, this is an exciting thing!!
Puberty is a natural process your body and mind go through. There are lots of physical changes to your body as well as mental changes. You cover most of the physical type changes in sex education and such. If you have any questions, there are plenty of good books out there or you can talk with your parents of someone you trust. As far as mental changes, your hormones are going crazy right and this spurs alot of changes in who you are. You'll start to view the opposite sex differently. You'll want to date and all that. If you have a good relationship with your parents, talk with them. I know sometimes their advice may seem corny, or totally inaccurate, but listen to what they have to say. If something sounds totally bogus or you think they don't completely understand your situation or "how it is", then instead of ignoring them, let them know!! Say "Hey, I know your trying to help, but I don't think you really understand my situation, can I explain it to you" or "Ok if I do what your suggesting, I don't think it would work because....blah blah" Basically be open and honest with them as much as you can. If not your parents then another adult your comfortable with.
That is really important. Having an adult you trust to confide in can really make your teenage years easier to navigate. Being 20-25 seems great and glamorus at your age, but trust me, when you get there its not going to feel glamorus...it'll just feel...normal. Another way to look at it is this....you won't be 20-25 no matter how hard you try until you live the years to get there, and trying to act that way will only make you be someone you aren't. It's OK to be who you are now. Believe me, as confusing as puberty can be, it's always one of the best times of your life. Your teenage years can be a time in your life you'll always look back on fondly. So enjoy them...don't waste them and be safe and have fun.
