i have very thick hair, and want i new hair style. i'm tired of the "wrap" look. all ideas welcome

cut it short
Short hair is sexy in that independent kind of way, and it probably isn't as hard to maintain.

Before you hack you hair off, try on a wig to see how it looks on you. And if you press it, be aware of the fact that any kind of moisture is gonna frizz out your hair, and pressing it too often will press it right off of your pretty little head and into the sink. If you wanna get it permed, just be ready for the responsibility, because it WILL fall out if you're not dilligent.

ME TOO! It has helped me to get it cut shorter, have it "textured" a lot, and also using a good, expensive straightener and hairspray! If all else fails get one of those awesome big headbands with poka-dots or something cute on it and wear some in the front and the rest in back! I do that sometimes also!

My hair is thick and was begging for a change so I went with a hair cut that was similar to Kelis's and I'm jsut now starting to get used to it. Try something new but not to drastic. Ease your self into it,

straighten your hair and get defrizzer, dont blowdry hair upside down, and if ya wanna, dye the color, there is hair thinning scissors.
