most people have some moles on the body, it is just that a sign of skin cancer is when these moles change in some way, so if you have moles in areas that are exposed to the sun you need to keep an eye on them, especially if they grow, change shape, become painful or itchy etc.
I think that the more moles you have the greater the chance you have of developing melanoma, but if you are worried see your doctor.
If you have treatment straight away they are fully cured.
