The "Y" offers babysitting classes at a pretty reasonable cost - check the phone book or ask your folks for help finding the nearest. You learn stuff like what you're asking as well as other stuff like games, what to do in an emergency and how to perform CPR. You also get a certificate, which may (depending on where you live), help you get a little more $ per hour. Good luck!

Make sure that the sticky pull out are in the back so you can fasten them in the front.. How old are the kids? If they are little you help them take off there bottoms and wait until they are on the potty. When it is time to wipe let them do themselves. Hopefully the parents have wipes they are easier than toilet paper) But if you are not sure as the parent I am sure they would be happy to answer your questions especially when it concerns their children good luck and congrats on your babysitting job..

oh boy your only 11, if i was you do your baby sitting at your house you are way to young to start baby sitting you will need adult supervision at least you will have your mom there to help or just in case if anything does happen with the kid if she/he gets sick I'm a mother my self & i will never leave my child in the hands of an 11, year old no way no how. if this does not work out with your mom than i suggest that you wait until your more mature to be able to handle baby sitting if you dont know how to change a diaper than you are not cut out as a baby sitter you must know these things before you take on any kind of job for that matter.

changing a diaper is easy, buy some and practice on a doll for awhile until you get the hang of it, and as far as helping a kid go to the bathroom if they are trained they pretty much know the routine and just probably need your guidance... good luck

Ask the childs mother or your mother to show you. You'll get the hang of it fast. Best of luck. God bless.
