I take it that you meant your computer is running haywire.
1) Backup all your files
2) Run System Restore
Try for further backdates, if the problem still persist, you will have to go for a total format and reinstallation.
For the latter, do that if you're competent enough, if not you should contact a computer technician near you.
The Norton Goback program seems to work on reverting your system better than Microsoft, worth a try after you have solved you present predicament.

Well that's an odd problem that I haven't heard of before. Off the top of my head, have you:

1. Updated your virus protection?
2. Scanned for viruses? A complete scan would be best.
3. Use System Restore in the Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools directory and restore your computer to a point in the past when you know your computer wasn't messed up
4. If this fails, then hopefully someone here has some more pointers, or call tech support

YOU DON'T SAY WHAT BRAND OR TYPE OF MONITOR YOU HAVE. TAKE A LOOK AT THIS LINK. YOU CAN "ROTATE" WHAT YOU SEE ON THE SCREEN WITH SOME MONITORS. IF YOU HAVE ADJUSTMENTS ALONG THESE LINES IT MAY HELP.

Turn the monitor back the right way.
