A few things do require a bit of faith and belief. Some are just not capable of that. I BELIEVE IT!

Actually, while I stand before you as a firm believer in the Virgin Birth, I think you are mistaken on two accounts.

1) Mary had a man in her life: Joseph. They were betrothed, which we can't relate to in our cultural, but pretty much meant they were married, just not living together. The significant is the that she "did not know man." Which is a rather pecular answer if you think about it. Gabriel told her she was going to going have a son and she asked him how it was possible. Given that she was about to be married that's strange. If you were even engaged and someone told you that you were to the have a child, wouldn't you assume they meant with your fiance?

2) Queen bees actually have a lot of sex. Male bees called drones serve only as sexual partners for the Queen. While female bees that do not sexually mature, make up the workforce. Though the Queen can produce drones without mating, since they serve only this function it seems to be an inappropriate analogy to Christ.

People cannot accept that Jesus was conceived without sex, because the claim is ridiculous. It wouldn't be a miracle or an artilce of faith if having a child without sex in the pre-invitro era was possible. To accept the fullness of the Christian faith, one must start at the simplest level (there is a God) then work their way up. We do not expect a second grader to learn the multiplication tables and intergal calculus on the same the day.

OK, Queen Bee gets fertilized by a male bee before she can lay eggs, Read into it.
Mary either had an affair or got raped or something, I'm sorry, but.. thousands of years ago some people were simple-minded enough to believe her Virgin Birth.

Mary was human, which takes away the animal theory. The man in her life was Joseph. He was there before, during, and after the birth of Jesus. Joseph help Mary raise Jesus. Mary became pregnant, because that was the will of God. It is called Creationism. It is the second time in the Bible that God did that. The first time is when God created everything, including the mankind. The second time God created, was so we would better understand what God is and what He expects. Jesus is the ultimate second chance. It is your choice to believe. Just don't under estimate God.

1. Because it's been two thousand years and even with all our research in cloning and stem cells, we still can't pull that off.

2. The queen bee IS fertilized by males. If what you said were true, bees and ants and wasps, etc. would not be alive now because their genetic adaptation would be much too slow.

Then again, you probably don't believe in evolution either.

Actually Jesus was conceived without a man in Mary's life, Joseph was with Mary when Jesus was born. But I do get what you are trying to say, at least I think I do.

A woman can raise a child without a man in her life just as well as she could with a man in her life. Just like a man can raise a child without a woman in his life. I'm sorry but it doesn't matter what the gender, if you are a loving and responsible parent you can raise a terrific child regardless.

Because before science showed us pictures of spermi men of theBOOK days believed in a man as having a seed they implanted-The Bible depicts the fertilization of Mary's egg by something holy-this disturbes the Natural concept of conception-did god then replace her egg with his own as well? It also automatically depicts God as being Male-a cheavenistic response by a religious order that was predominately male-a form of control-It also means that Joseph had to believe that Mary was faithful and yet we have no proof of her virginity except that she said so and was backed by others that said god said so-well was Joseph a virgin too? Who cares except that God then denied this wonderful man the true blessing of love between two people which is the popping of the cherry!

well the queen's eggs get spermed after she lays them. I guess Jesus could have been spermed on after he was born, lol.

We're you there? We're you with Mary long enough to know she wasn't banging some other bloke?

It's hard to accept because it's never been observed or heard of outside of this story.

Queen bees do not lay eggs until after they have mated with one or more drones (male bees). Only then do they lay fertile eggs. Your analogy is off.

Well, if Mary was a bee, then I suppose it makes sense. Maybe the Bible was written by bees for bees. That would explain why people with bee level intelligence accept it.

because people believe there is no reasonable evidence to believe in it

they are overlooking the theological implications of the virgin birth in Christianity and dismiss it as a fable

they dont understand that the virgin birth was necessary because original sin is passed through the man from Adam, and Jesus needed to be born without the blood of a man so he would have no original sin. there are a few other reasons but people never consider this
