If you don't want life, don't kill yourself but instead pray to God so that He take your life early by letting you have a car accident etc. According to most of the main religions (if not all) it is a great sin to kill yourself.
From the Islamic point of view, men are made from at least two main components that is the physical body and the "soul" or "spirit" (in Islam it is called "roh". "Roh" is more than "soul" but because I don't know the exact English translation, then I will use "soul" as the translation of "roh").
From the Islamic teaching, before you are born, God has created your "soul" early than your physical body. There is already a covenant made between your "soul" (and other souls) and God. [What is the covenant or promise made by every souls to God? Please read a good Islamic book or ask an imam].
Hence, you may not remember or realise this, but actually before you are born your soul has agreed to be sent to your physical body. From Islamic teaching it is not right to say you don't want life whereas in fact you through your soul has made a covenant with God that you agree to be born in this world.
Remember that life is tough but God is good. So, pray to God.
Life in this world is tough because it is not the destination, it is actually the journey. Our destination is to go to Paradise. In Paradise, you will not find difficulties any more. But before we go to Paradise, we must go through many tests or trials in this world. The tests or trials are not mean to punish us. It is mean to make us a better man/woman.
If you feel life is miserable and don't know how to solve your problems, then maybe it is time for you to see your approach in solving the problems; maybe you try to solve the problems not in accordance with "natural law" or the law of God.
If you are Christians, you may find it useful if you read the book by Norman Vincent Peale entitled "The Power of Positive Thinking". If you are Muslims, you can read a book entitled "Don't Be Said" by Sheikh Aidh Al Qarny. If you are buddhist, you can read books by Dalai Lama. If you are Atheist, you can read many self-motivational books that do not refer to any specific religious teaching.

Depression is something that everyone goes through at one time or another, and some times it feels like you have never been happy and even if you haven't that doesn't mean you won't find it. Why are you alive? Well someone wanted you. Why should you live? Well you don't know what life has in store for you, who you will meet, what you will do, and you only have one chance at it. Give it a chance, unfortunately life can suck. People can be cruel, things can happen each day that just piles on the frustration but something positive happens everyday. Start trying to find one good thing about your day, a different one everyday. Then after you can do that without thinking about it move it up to 2 then 3 and so on. And every time something bad happens try your hardest to figure out what can come out of it that i or could be positive and do everything you can to make that positive thing come out. This way you will always be able to embrace something positive and have a focus somewhere else. Try running too. It give you time to think, more energy and helps you feel better. I love it. Don't give up. It will get better. It always does.

I don't know if you are serious or not but everyone especially when they are young goes through existential angst. Have faith it gets better. I suggest investigating a more positive philosophy. I was severely depressed for years until I enrolled in a metaphysics class and was exposed to possibilities I hadn't thought of before. This lead me down a more spiritual path. I suggest to start out with meditation of some type. As you become more proficient with meditation your awareness of yourself and the universe will grow. At this point you can begin your search for truth because you will then have the tools to perceive it. A couple of good books are the Celestine Prophecy, and The Power of Now. I also suggest learning The Meditation of Loving Kindness, it's very helpful all the way around. Keep an open mind it will help to break you out of this funk. If you really need help you can contact me. You have a friend if you need one.
If you feel like you are going to freak out keep drawing your attention to your breath. This takes you out of your head and grounds you to the immediate world. Try to focus more on your senses and less on your thoughts. When you have found a more functional belief system you can engage more at key moments which will hopefully continue to facilitate you life forward in a positive way.

Your lot and station in life is apparently still undetermined and you have still not realized your purpose on this world. There is more to life than what you're aware of and self-discovery is the key. I have suffered horribly in my life which is too monstrous to even begin to start explaining but found my expression through art. As human beings, we were all designed to have some kind of means of expression whether it be music, writing, composing, painting, dance, poetry, sculpture, etc. By the way, I happen to be a musician and I use my music as my means of expressing my feelings. Without a means of expression, sometimes our lives can seem to be pointless.

I think you chose to come here. Your purpose is knowledge. You have the choice to hate it or love it. Its like working at McDonald's. You do it because you have to get a job. I'm sure there are some things you like. My life sucks too. But I know I'm the only one who can make it better. And don't forget there are lots of people who are worse conditions than you. Hell we are even lucky to be in this country. I went to Egypt a couple weeks ago. People are homeless because the don't make enough money. There is no welfare or housing or "free insurance" the literally built their houses out of garbage. These people are working class.

You were born because God found it worth for you to Exist. He has a purpose for you, either for you personally or for the benefit of others. We do not exist for the sake of existence.
Have you ever thought of many who are never conceived (women have their MPs every month), those who are actually conceived but are expelled by the mother's body, those who are aborted, and those who die immediately after birth?
The fact that you still exist means that there is a purpose for you. Look for that purpose instead of just sympathizing with yourself.
Good luck.

Most who 'hate' life do so because they have no hope or meaning in their life. The young do tend to see the world a litte less clouded and they realize the absurdity of it all. People who continue in this realm grow calloused and indifferent and focus more on self gratification and less on why they do what they do.
Jesus said, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. There is meaning to life in Christ Jesus, I promise you this.

Tell me your age and I will answer your question:
What if :
1. Bill Gates thought the same about his life :( you would surely not have typed this message using your WINDOWS operating system)
2. Edison thought the same about his life ( all of us would be in dark now)
3. Your english teacher thought the same about his/her life( you would not have expressed your thoughts so clearly)
What I mean to say is Find something that interests you and then do something about it. LIfe was not supposed to be good / or something like that : but one has to make it good. Birth and Death are not in your hands they are Almighty's domain. Don't interfere with his domain.

There isn't any purpose to life. You really are free to leave anytime you choose, although I don't recommend that. If I were as miserable as you say, I would do what was in my power to change it, which might include leaving it all behind and never looking back. I wouldn't end it unless the future were 99% hopeless.

You have a purpose for being here.....I think that "every minute" might be a bit strong. You pose a very interesting question, but I think that in the long run, only you will be able to find that out.
